"Maybe! Kia, you have to learn to fly, so we can go flying!" Aurora wriggled a bit till she was facing Kia, and poked at her gently. "This Dragon-Morion can teach you, did you hear?"
"Yes, I heard." Kia answered, and shrugged. "I love it if you helped me, Mori... Anen wants to help me too, I think."
She trailed off, watching him with the books. Kia hadn't been so interested in them, she couldn't read practically well yet, and some of them appeared to be very complex. Some of them were empty anyway, she'd seen no use for them.
"Hello Quark, my name is Cog." Cog replied, the center circle glowing like a lit gem. He shifted closer so that he could speak and hear, and continued, "I am Kia's familiar. Who do you take care of?"
Kia rolled her eyes, but didn't argue. Lately, her cog had been sure that it was his job to take care of her. He'd even decided to be 'male', just to enhance that role, as silly as it sounded to her.
