EVerything is in the process of being returned. I've sifting through alot of pms.

A few days ago I logged into gaia and re-edited this post to update everyone on what's going on but apparently it didn't save.

I was just told by my employer (by just told i mean like last week) that I'd be going out of town for 2 months for work. I'm excited and not excited. Excited to get away from teh snow in ny but not excited cause I'll have no internet access for 2 months and it's gonna be work from sun up to sun down.

yeah yeah. alot of ppl are pissed at me. i can't help that. bite your tongues and save your comments for when someone cares.

i just dont have the time. im working on finding a way to pack up my computer and move it when i leave for work but i don't know if the company is going to pay for that. im still trying to work that out with them.

anyways, its the same old line. i'm sorry.

_____Welcome to The Avatar Survival Contest v5.0. For anyone who is new, ASC is a single elimination Avatar Contest that lasts a month long. We start out with 29 avatars and it ends with 1 winner. Each night someone new is elimted based on votes by the judges and host(s).

How to Enter____________________
__... You will send a trade for 250gold to user ASC_Host.
__... The account will accept.
__... You will be officially entered.
__... You will allow user ASC_Host to add you to their friends list.
__... Don't want us to friend you? We are not responsible if you miss important updates/changes.

Contest Setup____________________
_____The contest begins on February 1st.

Each night we will PM everyone to notify them that we need their avatars for the next day. Contestants will PM me back and make sure to be wearing your entry for that day and don't change until we notify you that I have your image saved. If you are not WEARING you entry, it is invalid. Why? Because there are too many avatar simulator programs out there. This is not a contest of who can create the best avatar with a simulator.

You must PM me back before 10pm EST. If there is a problem due to work or something, please PM me the night before. If you do not have your avatar in on time, you will be disqualified.

All entries will be posted here in the thread for everyone to see.

The person with the most votes will be voted off. Everyone else will go on to the next day, the process will repeat until one avatar is left.

The Prize____________________
__... the entry fees equal 75OOg, so the winner will at least receive this 75OOg

Judging____________________
_____If you are interested in judging, PM ASC_Host with a breif summary of why you would make a good judge.

_____Everyday we will make a big group image of all the avatars in the category. We will post the image in this thread and PM all the judges to let them know we posted it. The judges will look them over and PM me their decision for 3 least favorite avatars and 3 favorite avatars before 10pm EST. If we don't get all results in then that judges votes do not count for that day obviously.

Votes will tallied and the avatar with the most negative votes will be voted off. Those with the most positive votes at the end of the week will get a prize.

Extra Notes____________________

__... There are no refunds of entry fee after January 28th.

[x]Please note that the calendar is not 100% complete, themes are subject to change.

[x] This is how the calendar works; you look at the day, you be ready for that theme =D
[x] Days that have items listed on them (for example 'Hat Day' or 'Hockey Mask Theme') mean that you MUST have that item on.
[x] Color days mean that the color listed must be the prominent color on your avatar. In the case of 'Red and Black' and 'Black and White', your avartar must have both those colors.
[x] 'No Theme' Days: Dress up in whatever you want =D!
[x] 'Mystery Days': I will notify the contestants the night before of the theme for that day ninja
[x] On *** I will announce the winner =D

[x] Specific Days Explained:
01: Under 5k The total of your entire outfit must not exceed 5k in cost.
02: Peasant +1 Guys are required to wear peasant pants and shirt. Girls are required to wear peasant dress. Any other peasant items DO NOT count towards your 1 extra, non-peasant item.
03: Area 51 You must have a creature mask on. The following are the only ones accepted; User Image

04: Clutter Simply pile on as much as you can while keeping it looking nice.
05: Gone Fishin' Dress up like you're going fishing.
06: Realistic No fantasy items allowed. This includes wings, masks, etc. Look how the how the average kid would, not the average otaku.
07: Love Your Robot You are required to wear the Robot Head at least. Anything else goes.
08: Animal Day Be the best furry you can be xP
09: 4 Items Only No more, no less than 4 items. All must be viewable.
10: Handheld Items Must have at least 1 handheld item.
11: Hockey Mask Item is required.
12: Rainbow Does not have to be the exact colors of a rainbow. Just look like a rainbow of colors.
13: Winter Baby it's cold outside. Make sure to keep warm.
14: Red day Happy Valentines Massacre Day =D! Red must be prominent on your avatar.
15: Jewelry At least 1 jewelry item is required.
16: Unisex Item Only All items must be equipable to both males and females.
17: Super Hero/Villian Put on your superman underpants again. Dress up like a super hero or villian. Not a cosplay so it's all original character.
18: GAIAniversary Happy 3 years to GAIA x_x You must have one at least 2 items from past GAIA anniversary parties. This includes the user run balls.
19: Love Your Pets Show off your pets to everyone =D
20: Halloween Head Must have a halloween mask on. This EXCLUDES the hockey mask, robot mask and the 3 alien masks since they were used on previous themes.
21: Pirate Day Shiver me timbers... or something. Dress up like a pirate.
22: Black and White Must be the two prominent colors on your ava.
23: Yellow and Purple Must be the two prominent colors on your ava.
24: Cosplay Dress up like someone who is not a user of GAIA. NPCs are allowed. Must supply a reference picture with your submission.
25: Stripes Do they make you look fat? Who cares. Make them look good.
26: Thug Bust a cap in the competitions a** with your thugged out, thugalicious style.
27: Hammi & Bammi Must have either one of the hats on.
28: Mystery Day ninja

Why ASC?: I love the fact that everyone has the same exact items to work with to come up with their own creative avatars. I love seeing how unique some people can make their avi. I wanted to join, because I think I can bring an unbaised view, that judges not on how expensive an avatar is, but how asthetically pleasing it is. I can't wait to see what people come up with in response to the themes. ^_^v
Bio: I tend to be very opinionated, and I think that'll help in this contest. If you use one of my least favourite items, you'll have a hard time getting a good vote from me. However, if you use them in a way that I think makes your outfit complete, then I'll probably grudgingly accept the greatness of it xD
