The Renaissance Charity Guild has been doing an event every season since Spring of 2005. However, it was the October 2005 event, Bal Masque, that changed the way user-run events were looked at. With an extensive plotline running from June to October, an intricate story was woven. This event was attended by over 150 users. The event was such a success, it heralded the coming of another plotline in January of 2006.
The Ides I and II Ran from January until the event in March with the second act, The Ides III and IV running til the second event in June.
The Ides was supposed to be the grand finale of the guild's events, however an outcry was heard. Hearing this marked the start of the Requiem for the Past storyline. This ran from June until October, like the first plot. However, this plot was different. Of the original cast, very few were featured in this plot.
As an explanation for why this was, another plot went along at the same time. The Last Bohemian chronicled several days in the lives of the characters many years after the events of the Bal Masque.
Beautiful Dreamer is unlike any event before it. To say why would spoil the surprise. This event will answer many questions about why things have happened in the post events. Hold on dearies, you are in for a bumpy ride. The event will be held in the guild in early Spring. An exact date will be posted soon.
