Mister Sean Fennel is a somewhat unremarkable young man in his mid twenties who lives in the back rooms of his antique shop. Some of his friends find his choice of career rather odd, but Sean enjoys it thoroughly, not only for the antiques themselves but also the stories behind them. He keeps painstaking notes of all the little anecdotes he has heard over the few years of owning the store, and though he talks about someday using the stories and ideas to write a novel of his own, he has yet to actually start writing.Mister Fennel is one of those people who maintains his public spaces and appearances with great care, while the areas reserved for himself remain a horrid mess. Everything in the store is in perfect order, but it seems that Sean uses all his energy in keeping that sorted; his own living space is haphazardly strewn with clothing and other possessions, which are usually just left where they are dropped. Fennel is by no means a dirty individual, however, he just believes that the floor is the largest shelf in the house, and uses it as such.
When he is out and about or running the store, Sean wears a pair of nice, if slightly worn, dress pants, and a polo shirt. His hair is brown and short, and he spikes it up in the front when he remembers. He is also prone to forgetting to shave, but fortunately, he does not look bad with a bit of stubble on his chin. Mister Fennel's only other feature of note is a faint scar running from the bridge of his nose, below his right eye, to the top of his cheekbone. When asked how he got it, however, Sean playfully gives a different answer every time, with varying degrees of plausibility.
Sean Fennel excels at making up stories, and dearly enjoys doing so as well. He prides himself for being able to lie with a straight face, and though this got him in trouble numerous times during his college years, he is still not afraid to continue, as long as it is all in good fun. He can be serious when necessary, but he avoids the necessity whenever he can.

Gelezis has proven himself an arrogant god, and makes it abundantly obvious that he looks down upon Sean, and likely most other mortals as well. Having little respect for his host, the god reminds him often that he fully plans on erasing Sean from existance completely, and that it is only a matter of time before he does so. He prefers to work alone, without even the help of his one Aoide companion, though since the beginning of Gehenna, he has had to rely on Sean a bit more.
With the disturbance to his polarity from the waves of Gehenna, combined with the sheer amount of time he has slept in his stone, Gelezis cannot yet fully remember his past appearance. As he struggles to recall it, he works on gradually re-attuning his magnetic field to Sean, to bind himself more completely to the mortal man....

My aunt let me take over her antiques shop for her when she got older, and I still run it today. I mean, she's in a nursing home right now, so I can't let her down. Besides, this place is my livelihood. And it's interesting, too. All kinds of items come through with stories behind them. I collect the stories like some folks collect the stuff. Except I don't have to pay anything for the stories, and I can give them to other people while still having them for myself. Pretty cool, don't you think?
Anyway, I live in the back, through that door behind the counter that says, "Private". I think it should probably say, "Danger!", though. I don't live in squalor or anything, but there's... well, there's a good amount of stuff all over the floor. It's still home to me, though. And I'll clean it someday.
