Hello, and welcome to my idea thread^^. This used to be the mertail thread, but now that we've gotten our tails, I've decided to re-vamp this thread and use it to house my numerous other ideas. 3nodding

This doesn't mean that I'll never make another mertail edit again, but they'll just be fun side edits^^. I'll also keep all the mer-edits in this thread, to show that Gaians are still very much interested in more different kinds of mertails and mer-hair.

A lot of these ideas are pretty esoteric, and I really don't expect to see most of them become items, but hey, a girl can try. XD I also imagine many of them won't appeal to as large a range of Gaians as the mertails (and to a lesser extent, the hitodama). But they're all things that I, myself, would love to have. heart I may make a petition for one or more of them in the future.

Some of these will make more sense when you see the edits. Also, some of these have already been suggested in some form or another, but I'm just adding my support^^.

Killer edits. Also, I like the idea. When I heard there was a fighing update I'm all like "COol, hope there's mermaid tail!" but there weren't and it sucks. I love your edits. You should make an editing shop. Hehe.

Wow, I like both of those ALOT (very good editing...). That tail looks like
it would fit in well with the other fish stuff. (And as someone who likes a
good ghost story, the little 'spirits' are neat too...)

Those are smashing edits, first of all. Really great work.
Although I have just one question- have you measured the space/height used by an avatar and compared it to your edit? If the tail was curling up like that it might disrupt the table settings for posts by stretching the page vertically. Is there a tail position that would still look appealing/natural that was less elongated?
And really, I hope they get you to draw the tails or follow your lead, because if whatever mermaid tail we end up with looks raw and pixelated, I'll be very sad.

I like the little spirit fireballs as well. How about a Kodama too? xd

Another idea: Hitodama. You know those little balls of spirit fire you see floating around spooky places and people in anime? Those. I'd KILL for hitodama.

First of all, thanks for all the comments.^^

I wasn't thinking about size constraints when I drew the edits, so the tail might have to be curled up a bit more in order to work. The mertail was my very first avatar edit^^;;.

When I draw the "light" tail edit I'll try to make it fit more.

I like both of those, although I think I would probably prefer Merman legs like the baddies from Castlevania games as opposed to a tail. Maybe both option.

Your edits were very good though. Now if only Gaia would take its' users lead! xd
