Hello everyone and welcome to the Fanime Con 2006 Gaia Panel thread.
I will update this thread as the wireless connection allows. I was told there is no service in the panel room so I maybe posting more updates after the panel.

The panel itself will be at 1PM PST so more info will be posted then.

On a side note, I just missed the 2nd spin on the raffle wheel by one. Some you know what that is...

NEWS:

Ok the overall first

The Battle System Video WAS AWESOME. I am very excited.
By the end of the year we should be enjoying this.

ITEM SYNTHESIS - the idea to combine multiple items - the common example being thrown around is a devil tail and the angelic headband to make an angelic tail. It's unclear if the devil tail and angelic headband would be used up and permantly as a new item as the affect on the ecomony could be drastic...

WORD BUMP game
The idea to spell words to move up the blocks to spell the word of the round. You can earn gold and item. Watch the video...

TOWNS
Trees, Bushes and Rocks will be able to be shaken to drop - GOLD and it will go directly into your account.

Soon you will also be able to have a direct warp link to your house in towns so your friends can go DIRECTLY to your house without the Trainstation...

CLOTHES
There MAY be a blue Chuck Norris Scarf smile - (SykoSilver heard as such, I heard different so I guess this is a rumor then)
There will be a Grunny Plushie
There will be Black Fox and Cat Tails probably Halloween
There will be BACK WINGS and the ANGELIC ROD from the quest system...
There will be Wedding Dresses and maybe weddings

PROFILE 2.0 - COMING NEXT WEEK (Atleast that's what was said at the panel)
Is awesome
It's totally customizable, you can add and subtract any part of the profile on any part of the screen without CSS smile , but it will support CSS for those that have a cool profile already...
You can now add other AVIs to your profile and dress them up - Lanzer in a wedding dress was so funny.

I am a profile tester so you can also ask me additional questions...

INK
You will able to Paint your house.
Hair Colorings
Tatoos - You'll be able to make your own too smile
and for your customized shirt on Gaia Avi smile

AVIs
All items are being redone AGAIN so that the new avi system with facial emotions and the tatoos will work...

similar to the Art Arena just for movies. - Maybe I should host my movies smile

NEW STORYLINE MANGA - in 2 months or so...

HOUSES
The lighting in houses will now also work in towns

L0cke mentioned that he would love to release a book of the manga, art and the concept drawings for Gaia in the future...
