Maji's homeworld is Togoria, a place of mountains, forests, meadows, and oceans. The largest city is Caross, and the only sentient beings are the large Togorians, which are known -- and feared -- throughout the galaxy, and the mosgoths. Most bounty hunters will even hesitate to hunt Togorians, especially the females, who are quite comfortable with high technology.

Togorians are a race of huge cat-like creatures who walk on two legs. Some have tails -- some do not. On their own world, Togorians generally don't wear clothing, or wear very limited clothing -- their fur protects them, and their weather is generally very mild. Offworld, males generally wear a limited amount of clothing; they are comfortable with blasters and spears alike. Females generally where more expansive and elaborate clothing. A multitude of colors exist, from whites to grays to blacks to browns, and numerous shades and patterns inbetween.

The males of Togoria live in nomadic hunting packs, riding their mosgoths -- huge, flying reptiles -- from place to place. They are ruled by the Margave, the leader male of all the nomadic males. The Togorians live a symbiotic existance with the mosgoths, as they are both vulnerable to the much larger winged reptiles, the liphons.

Females, on the other hand, are the technologically inclined; they live in large cities, often going offworld quite frequently to see the rest of the galaxy. However, all their technology is based off of solar power, so that their environment remains clean. Gardens and parks run rampant over the cities; most buildings are carved skillfully from local stone.

Both male and female cubs stay with their mothers until they almost reach adulthood -- at age seventeen standard years -- and then the males leave to go live with their fathers and learn the ways of the hunters.</center>

Father: Gondi (Claw)

Maji knows little of his father. Having grown up with his mother his full eleven lives -- like any proper young Togorian -- he only sees his father one month out of the year, when Gondi comes to live with Sinzia and Maji in the city. His father tends to be stoic and silent, which tends to make Maji uncomfortable ... he's unsure of how to respond to his father's lack of outward affection towards him. Ironically, Gondi tends to bestow an overload of affection on Sinzia, his mate; to the casual observer, it looks as if Gondi merely shoved Maji to the side, ignoring him.

However, when it was learned that Maji would be leaving to attend the Jedi Academy on Gaia, his father made a special trip to the city of Caross in order to give Maji a little gift ... a very young newly-hatched mosgoth whom Maji christianed Jini for her stark white color, a very unusual and mythical color among the mosgoth. Upon leaving, Maji's feelings for his father are very confused ... and something to brood over on spare moments.

Mother: Sinzia (Daydream)

Maji is the spitting image of his mother, Sinzia, in looks. She's a very outgoing, tough, independent individual, with perhaps one weakness -- she loves Gondi dearly and would do anything to protect him, putting him even before her son, Maji.

Sinzia is an accomplished space pilot and lived for two and a half decades offworld, working as a pilot for several important -- and legal -- trading routes. Gondi had been her childhood companion and friend, and only naturally followed after her when he went looking for a mate. They fell in love, and she followed him back to Togoria, where she stayed to raise his son.

Sinzia, despite her loyalty to Gondi, is very loving to Maji, although she refuses to indulge his every whim.

Pet: Jini (Mosgoth)

Jini is the hatchling pure-white mosgorth that Gondi gave to Maji. She's very young, but seems to rely totally on Maji, looking to him as a 'mother substitute.' She's affectionate and her arrival in Maji's life has given him an outlet to the outward love that he's never received, and yet hungered for, inwardly. Already, she's his firm companion, and she doesn't leave his side -- ever.

Maji's guardian is Winterfalcon -- someone he has not yet met, nor even talked to. She lives on Gaia with a multitude of pets (probably more than is sanely reasonable to have), and rarely socializes with other people -- she's quite often thought of as eccentric.

She's an artist at heart, and delights in cartooning and drawing. When she's not doing that, she's caring for her many pets, and is rather eager to welcome something that doesn't have four feet into her home.
