[LeafyLeaf/Flops]
It was a day she would always remember. On this day Santine was on vacation taking a boat ride and a typoon came out of no where and swept santine of the boat and in to its waters. Soon she was unconcious, just floating, drifting away. The currents then brought her to a mysterious island, she didn't know where she was, what was she doing here, and what happened.
As she wandered the island she came across a small egg shaped fruit it didn't look apetizing but it did look interesting so she carried it in her arms. As she wandered deeper into forest of the island she found a egg shaped like stone, she decided it was a rare find so she took it.
That night she made camp and sat there wondering how she got on the island, the last thing she remembered was being pushed into the water. She soon grew tired and fell asleep unknowing of the miracle that was about to happen. As she slumbered the egg shaped fruit and rock that she found earlier started to crack and then out popped two little creatures. They ran into the jungle and came back with delicious fruit.
Santine awoke in amazment to see these little creatures slumbering, exausted from getting the fruit. Satine joyously ate every bite of fruit and poked the little creatures and thought they were adorable. As they little creatures stirred they made sounds. The one with the leaf on its head said leafy.. leaf, and the one that had little legs said flop.... So she decided to call them leafyleafs and flops. She then began to wonder if there were more creatures like them.
As the creatures awoke they found themselves lying in a baset made of dried seaweed. Santine searched high and low for these creatures, and then suddenly she heard them those tiny voices. She looked behind a bramble of vines and to her amazment found many many more creatures of different colors and markings. They were kind and so adorable she decided to take them with her. She led them to her camp and that night made a huge net and put each one of the creatures inside it gently.
The next morning she made an S.O.S sign out of rocks so that she could be found and taken off the island. She sat with the net in her lap, the creatures were stirring inside of it peeping and jumping. Then a plane flew up above and she waved her hands and screamed as loud as she could. The plane saw the messange and landed on the island and took Santine back to civilization.
When Santine got home all were joyous to find that she had not died she told them what happened, about the island and the creatures.
But she then knew that she couldent keep them all so she decided to give them away. Now she owns a shop and gives kind people the leafyleafs and the flops and she knows that they are gowing to good homes. So if you ever want to know her story or get a leafyleaf or flop look her up in the yellow pages or take a trip to her shop.

[Aquariux]
A small underwater creature comes up to you and hands you a bundle of seaweed, inside is a pearl. She looks up at you with tears in her eyes and opens her mouth to speak "Will you please watch my baby? Our species is quickly dying and so with hopes that the little ones will survive, we have given a few of our precious eggs to random gaians. Please take it, give it a good name and raise it right." She leaves suddenly with tears streaming down her eyes, She jumps back into the ocean and swims away.
What would you do if you were suddenly left with a pearl that you suddenly have to take care of. With appsoulately no training and no idea what these things eat and need? Well 4 lucky gaians got to find out.
The first of the 4 was Tellah Amna. She recieved a beautiful white pearl.
The gender was male and his name is Andir.
The second of the 4 was Fox Mouse. She recieved a beautiful red pearl.
The gender was female and the name is Iris.
The third of the 4 was Ebiny_Kitty. She recieved a beautiful black pearl.
The gender was female and the name is Shelly.
The fourth and final of them all, was PJ_Pocky. She recieved a beautiful green pearl.
The gender was male and the name was Philip.
Now with these 4 pearls were in the caring hands of these 4 guardians, there was only two questionsto be asked. How can we make this underwater species survive and grow? and What should we name the species? The first answer was simple, breeding them! That is sure to make the population grow. As for the second answer, someone suggested Aquariux. Everyone else agreed that it fit the species perfectly. After all, they were underwater creatures, and the term Aqua is another way to talk about water.
After each of the pearls hatched into their second stage, the 4 guardians began meeting secretively and letting them get to know one another. After a while the babies became adults. Then it was time for them to select a mating partner. Andir was quite fond of Iris, and Iris was fond of Andir as well. Shelly and Philip were good friends, but they had never thought about mating. However, they knew of the dying population, so they decided that in time, their friendship would turn into love.
A few nights pass and much to our suprise, 6 beautiful eggs have been laid from each couple. So the next question for the guardians, is what to do with these eggs. They cannot possibly keep them all. Tellah Amna, Fox Mouse, PJ_Pocky, and Ebiny_Kitty all decided that they would each take 1-2 eggs, and the rest would be sold to a few lucky gaians. Lets just hope that with this new beginning, we can continue the race of Aquariux.
