Home to the weyrs of Pern, Benden, Fort, and Southern. This roleplay guild takes place in the 8th pass, before any of the events in the books (i.e. Lessa, Aivas, etc.).

Rules:

1. You're always welcome to come in talk, make yourselves at home in the Weyrs or Holds, or rp. We request that people chatting ooc (out of character) please use brackets or parentheses [] or ().
2. This roleplay is in the 8th pass, BEFORE ANYTHING IN THE BOOKS HAPPEN! Please keep this in mind as you rp, as numerous staff members will point out.
3. Please try and remain active in the guild, meaning check in with a staff member at least once a week. Inactivity will result in depression in the dragon, and warnings will be made. After three strikes, your dragon will go in between and not return (the nice way of saying they'll be taken away domokun )
4. All dragon riders start out as candidates. Some exceptions may be made. If you wish to apply as a transfer rider get ready with a nice long literate biography.
5. To become a candidate, you MUST pm the mule account. Staff members will check it regularly, so don't worry about being ignored.
6.A candidate MUST show interest in the thread prior to a Hatching, or they will not be taken seriously.
7. Flights, dragon or dragonet, and Hatchings will all be run by me or another staff member. This is to prevent any confusion, as multiple dragons rising at the same time will result in many unwanted hazards.
8. If your dragon or dragonet mates and clutches, the Hatchings will be overseen by the Weyrleaders or Weyrling Master.
9. Candidates ARE allowed to have dragonets, but they MUST be approved my me. You can run them by a staff member, but they must let me know how many, and what color, dragonet's you have. One person can have no more than 1 gold dragonet and 2 bronzes, and the LIMIT is 5, but the encouraged limit is 3. Please make sure that if you go to 5 dragonets that you find time to rp with all of them.
10. People that can speak to all dragons are incredibly rare, and only given the chance as a privelige. Do lots of things for the guild, be the best rper, and it's possible that you may become one wink
11. IF YOU ARE GOING AWAY FOR ANY PERIOD OF TIME, PM ONE OF THE STAFF MEMBERS! If you fail to do this, your dragon could be taken away on accident. So please, riders and weyrlings, remember to pm a staff member whenever you have to go anywhere for longer than one week!
12. A description of your character (like name, gender, height, family, background, history, personality, etc) MUST BE PMED to WorldofPern. It is required before you can start roleplaying. You can pm the mule account any time to find the description of a character you might be rping with, but it gets hard when the description isn't there.
13. All dragon names MUST NOT be even remotely modern. Nothing like 'Silver Strike' or anything like that. Sorry sweatdrop but it has to be something creative, and should have a 'th' somewhere in it.
14. Please, no advertising in the guild unless you're asking for your shop/thread to be put on the link list, or if you have gotten special permission. This includes no spamming. domokun
15. Women CAN rp with a male character. If that is their preference, it's fine. And there CAN and WILL be same sex pairings if a male gets a green and she mate's with a male rider's blue. It happens, so you'll just have to go with it.
16. Any breachings of these rules will result in a temporary or permanent ban. First time breaks are accepted, but second times are put on the grey list.

All ideas in this guild or copyrighted by Anne McCaffrey, author of the Pern series, and we take no credit for the dragons or Pern. Immature uses of the dragons or dragonets will be reported and banned from further interaction in the guild.

The rider is written as their pernname, their dragon's name, their rank, and their gaia name. If they have no rank, it will simply be blank. {S} will mean they are a part of the staff.

The 'Speak-alls' category are the people who have the ability to speak to all the dragons. They are very rare, and only given the ability as a reward for some humongo achievement, as it pretty much means rping with someone else's dragon.

Autos are characters that anybody can rp, but they SHOULD be rped as their personalities say, as in they should remain fairly consistant. Please rp them at least fairly close with the guidelines above. More will be added later.

IMPORTANT!!! RULES FOR SPEAK-ALLS!!!!
1. You MAY NOT say what a dragon is supposed to say, meaning you MAY NOT rp another rider's dragon!!
2. You can HEAR the dragons ONLY! That means you can have private conversations with the dragons, and you hear them involuntarily. Like before, you MAY NOT rp the dragons!
3. If I find ANY dragon being rped by someone other than their rider or me (in the case of a Hatching) they WILL BE banned from this guild, and not allowed any further contact with it. domokun
4. Please, don't rp another person's dragon, DO NOT beg to be a speak-all. Doing so will just put you on my 'to be ignored' list.

Note: Anyone wanting to apply to become a Lord or Lady Holder must fill out the form below. Once it's filled out, please pm it to either me or the Weyrling Master. Anybody can be a holder. They just have to fill out a form with a description, history, personality, etc before they will be put on the list. There will be a mule account created which will hold all the profiles of the riders, weyrlings, and holders.

A great shop I'm a member of. It's new, so fairly small at the moment, but the pets are adorable, not to mention inexpensive for having such a great colorist (I'm serious, look at his siggie! gonk ) The pets are rp required to grow, but a joy to have around!
