Hello all! You may be wondering about what this thread's all about. Or you might just have stumbled here by some odd chance. It doesn't really matter though since you're here! Okay so here's the deal, I'm normally not the quest type, but I've been feeling bored lately on Gaia. And so I decided to go after some things that I wanted. This included items, as well as RP characters. So basically, this will help me in following my status and current concept ideas. No bumps are neccessary. However, comments and/or donations are always loved. heart

I've been trying to collect at least one of the items released from the donation letters. Don't ask why, but it's just nice to collect something. Not to mention investing in letters really pay off in breedable auctions. Of course, I'm not uber rich so I'm not even going to try to get 2003 items as well. Although, I do have the AFK hat and an Angelic Scarf. Though I got those when they were just recieved for around 4k. But those don't really count.

Anyways, I'm trying to collect some 2004 items/letters which I somehow.. missed. I must have been extremly poor those months to not be able to afford like 8k for two sealed letters. Now I'll have to suffer in trying to get them for their newly inflatted prices. These items are as follow:

There are several items whicj I would like from the Gaia shops. I'm just too poor or always saving for one thing or another to get them whee . I doubt that I'll get these, since I'd have to seriously splurge for a new outfit all together, but I might as well put them on display too.

<center>Breedables ^_^</center>


There are not too many breedable shops that I stalk nowadays. But the ones that I do stalk are awesome. All of them are guardian-charge based. Meaning a character of your adopts a child from the shop. Also, they all are journal breedables.



Sin'aeis: This is a nice breedables concept created by Aylee. Here, you would adopt a child to care for through it's five stages of life. Each child is uniquely drawn with cute little food item as they're focus. The community seems really nice. Not to mention it's Aylee artsies! -flails- I'm hoping to try out in the next raffle, and auction.

Painted Souls: These are cute little souls that you take care of. They derive from paintings. So far, there hasn't been much RP among the thread and guardians which is a bit upsetting. Hopefully, things will pick up soon n_n


Through the Looking Glass: I've been stalking this shop for perhaps the longest. Actually since it's opening day. I've watched the new guardians be given their children XD. I would like to become a guardian one day, but there's no real rush. Mainly because I suck at flatsales events, and the auctions go higher then my dear gold count. But the art and concept is really nice.


Also, I have been added as the first quester of Through the Looking Glass.

<center>Character Concepts</center>


From time to time, I think up of some character for one shop or another. I will list those characters below.

The first one Aysha, originally derived from my Fa'e quest. However, now that I no longer have the desire to quest for a Fa'e anymore, I have decided to try to re-create her though another shop. The best fit so far, would be either the Painted Souls or Through the Looking Glass thread. But we shall see.

Quote:

Name: Aysha
Meaning: Yoruba for "Life"
Gender: Female
Nickname: Aye
Physical Description: Aysha has a soft dark brown complexion. Has a child she would like her dark hair to be kept in two ponytail braids, though has a teen, small singular braids would suit her better with beads on the end. Her eyes appearing a bit slant are a dark purple coloring which seem to be filled with innocence. Aysha is a gentle and slim figured Fa'e, though not frail.

Markings: Two purple strips are visible under her left eye. One under another as though they are finger smudges. On her left arm a purple spiral shape begins from her upper arm, and trails down to her elbow.


Personality: Aysha is a calm child, that can often be found observing things in life. She's what some people would like to call "A Wallflower". Sitting back and watching the world is her muse. She's eager to learn, but most importantly teach herself as many things as possible. Born with a natural artistic ability, she will discover the joy in playing her flute. Aysha is a person who listens well when needed too, which probably compensates for that fact that she's not the most outgoing person. Although when she becomes comfortable in an enviornment she tends to act more loosely, and even silly if she allows it. She has a strong endurance with dealing with situations sometimes. Aysha is also not one to express her feelings so vivdly when she is angry. As a result she often finds her escapement from hardships within in the novels from her book collections. However sometimes her books are not enough to ease her anger. In such events, she releases anger through forms of wind such as: thunderstorms, hurricances, or tornadoes. For example, as a child if someone angers her a result may be a small burst of a darkening of the sky's and a brief rainstorm would appear, without any physical hint that Aysha was responsible. However she doesn't do it deliberately. It's merely that she hasn't yet learned how to control her powers.

Clothing: Coming soon... ninja

Talents: As I described in her personality, she has the ability to release her anger in forms of thunderstorms, hurricanes, or tornadoes. Also Aysha has a knack in playing her picolo.


Story:

In a small village in Africa there was a feeling of something to come. It was in the air, though no one could identify what it was. Little did they know what was about to hit their village.

With arms outstretched the tall figure released a loud and sharp shriek as the sky erupted in a sudden stream of raindrops, which quickly increased in a faster pace. The creek which layed just below her, ravaged and grew, as it's cold and harsh waves slammed angrily about. It seemed to be in need of destroying everything which came in it's path.

The figure remained in the same postion as though frozen for some time, before finally seeming to fall limp on the ground from exhaustion. She layed for only a moment though, as she decided to make her way to the mangled shack which was to be called her home. As she walked quietly still brewing with unknown anger, the creek came into view. She vaguely remembered what she had done moments ago, and thought nothing of it as usual after releasing herself. The houses which had obviously crossed her anger had no phase on her. She didn't care. They didn't understand why she was so angry, so why should she care about them?

She was nearing her home.. or better yet what was left of it, when she noticed a pair of small feet poking out from under a rather large tree branch. Slowly, she walked towards the person feeling a strange feeling which she was not accustomed to. It was almost as if she were feeling.. apprehensive. Carefully, she kneeled beside the tree branch, and rolled it off to the side. What was revealed was the face ( Or better yet what remainded) of a small male child. She knew knew instantly that this child was no longer alive. Without warning thoughts flooded the girl's mind. She started the storm. She wanted to hurt and make other people feel. Well... she succeeded. This child was evidence enough. Tears began to stream uncontrollably down her face to land on the child's face... as though he too were in tears. She wiped the tears from her eyes, and also from the child's eyes, where her two fingers lingered under the right one.

"I've done this. Never before... have I felt guilty. Guilty and ashamed by my own behaviors. I've felt immortal all this time. Immortal no doubt from these powers that I posess. Posess and abuse", she spoke outloud.

"How can I repay for what I have done? I am not worthy of any mortal punishment", she muttered while her hands seemingly found a way around the childs body, as she cradled it in her arms.

And as though someone was able to hear her cry's and questions. A thought came to her, or rather an order. She knew then that she had to give this young soul life. Give him the life he was barely able to live. With her soul, she knew that he could continue.


It is said that the girl never removed herself from the spot that she sat in. Though her body was alive and functional, her mind was not. She slipped into a state of vegetation. It was only a matter of time before she would eventually pass, with the dead child still cradled in her arms. And once she perished, this young boys soul would become connected to her own. It would live within that of the girl's life soul. There souls would become entwined, forever as one. The joint soul rested.. waiting patiently... for the opportunity to be... reborn.


This second concept was created in a much quicker fashion for the last contest that the Painted Souls had. I like the concept.. though I think that I can make it better. Especially in the physical description.

Description: She is small compared to her peers as a baby and actually continuously as she ages. Her dark hair is often kept loosely just below her shoulders, and held back with a blue headband. As for her eyes, they are of hazel coloring and always seem to be filled with curiosity against her tan smooth skin.

Personality: Aliza is very inquisitive as a baby. She is not one to be labeled as a difficult child. Instead she is seen as a respectful towards her elder, and quiet to her peers. As a matter of fact, she often prefers to keep to herself. Aliza is not one to be found in large crowds of people. Although Aliza is not "unsocial", it's just matter of feeling comfortable around others who she does not know well. Once she does feel comfortable around others, she tends to loosen up, and act freely as herself. She's also eager to learn, but most importantly teach herself as many things as possible. It takes quite a bit to upset Aliza, but once it is done, there's no telling how long she will hold onto her grudge. Born with a subtle kinship towards animal, she tends to surround herself with her pets in times of hardship. Her relationship to animals will ultimately become her escapement from the world around her when needed.
