Everyone is moaning about how the creator of Final Fantasy (Sakaguchi) is going to X Box and how its the end of the world for Final Fantasy as we know it. Well guys can you please learn to do RESEARCH before making all these faulse claims? The Final Fantasy games are NOT going to X Box and the creator is NOT staying with X Box (or at least not to my knowledge). Sakaguchi has signed up with X Box to make TWO games for Microsofts console and that is it.

So no, Sakaguchi is NOT staying with X Box, he is making two games for the X Box Console then going back to Square-Enix most likely. So you can stop worrying about Final Fantasy going bad or whatever since I think that Sakaguchi WILL go back to Square-Enix after his contract to make TWO games is up.

Besides, being the creator for the games I doubt he would want to leave his creation behind for good. Sure there will come a day when he will but somehow i doubt thats anytime soon.

I'd like to see some proof there, missy. Got any press releases to back Sakaguchi's possible return to Square-Enix?

We know that Sakaguchi left Square-Enix, so there's no way a FF game is going be made for the X-Box. People made that clear in the thread that talked about it yesterday.

That would put an FF game on every major console if he did make an FF game for the Xbox, and I highly doubt that will ever happen.

I don't think a return to SE is going to happen. After all, he does have his own company set up already. And Uematsu is set to help him out on occasion, too. Unless his projects sink like bricks in the Hudson, it wouldn't make much financial sense for him to abandon his newly formed company.

If everyone cares to jump the gun and take a personal opinion to heart then its not my fault. They should learn not to take things others say so personally and read properly. Message board forums is,after all, mostly a place where you can voice your own opinion on things which is what i did, if people care to take another person personal opinion to heart then i take no responsability, it is just what I think and im not asking everyone to belive me.

I have a question: am i the only one who thinks that its time for Square to lose its death grip on the RPG genre? i would be thrilled to hear that Xbox was getting a final fantasy.

C'mon, Demmy. You're a smart girl. Look where we're discussing this at? Gaia. Which is a message board. On the INTARWEB. People are going to think that everything that's posted on the internet is true, regardless if it's a personal opinion or not. Especially in this subforum.

But, if Sakaguchi left Square-Enix, what exactly made you think that after he started his own company, that he'll return after he makes two X-Box games? Opinions are opinions, but if there's so backbone to them (as in what made them become an opinion) and are just something that's pulled out of the clouds (or someone's a**, for that matter), then it's not an opinion and is basically just some ignorant dream that someone has.

Ok i admit that i havent paid much attention in the world behind Final Fantasy (some things though mostly nothing) so i totally didnt even know he had decided to start his own company. My ignorance is bad i agree but still i didnt take much notice that he left Square let alone start his own company. I guess I have to start reading more of the behind the sceen stuff then i do now. sweatdrop
