So how do marmots relate to lust? Well, here are some facts about marmot mating habits:
~ The yellow-bellied marmot lives in a permanent polygynous harem. X
~ The Olympic marmot mates a couple of weeks after it comes out of hibernation, and usually have litters every other year. X
~ There's a variety of marmot called the "hoary" marmot. xd
~ Male Vancouver Island marmots occasionally father pups with two or more females each year X
