Winter. It is a time of long nights and short days. A time of snow and ice, of icicles and fleuries. A time of waiting. Waiting for the car to warm up, waiting for your glasses to unfog, waiting for the ice to be thick enough to go skating, waiting for Christmas, waiting for the perfect powder on the slopes, waiting for the next warm spell.

There is really only one thing to be done at a time like this. Have a party! Naturally.

The kingdoms of Winter are in full celebration, ready and welcoming to all. This is, after all, their time to shine. The crystalline snow sparkles, diamond-like, in the lights spilling from the celebrations. The Queens and the Spirits of the season have truly outdone themselves this year.

But there are other forces at work, threatening to overthrow that which the Queens have built. Both the celebration and the season are at risk. Discontented people in each of the five kingdoms are banding together, trying to wrest control away from the Queens.The members of the Girl's Sanctuary and Safe Haven are called to keep the celebration alive.
