Hello! I'm new here and my name is Roxanne. I go by chibixane everywhere on the internet and I just turned 24 a few days ago. 3nodding I love all sorts of fashion, shoes, etc. I work full time in an office. I get paid to open computer graphics files and print them out! blaugh Starting in August, I'm also going back to school full time in the evening! I'm going to major in Anthropology and minor in English. After I finish my bachelor's degree, I'm going to earn an elementary education teaching certificate.

I collect Gene dolls, which wear fashions from the 1800s, 1920s, and 1940s-1950s. I missed these decades and can't wear the clothes, but having the dolls is almost as good! I wish fashions of the 40s would make a comeback. The winter coat I will be buying reminds me of a turn-of-the-century or 1940 jacket because of the fitted waist and flare over the hips.

I can't wait for the tax free weekend coming up! I'm going to go shopping and hopefully find lots of nice clothes for fall! I hate Spring fashions; I'm not a fan of strappy dresses and shoes. I'm much more of a wool/tweed/heavier skirts, knee-high boots, and sweaters person. This coming fall looks to have lots of bright, bold colors and I can't wait to work them into my wardrobe!

Some people are saying that they can find the same designer styles for cheaper, but I don't agree. I always felt a little clothing-stifled until I started shopping at higher-end stores with designer labels. I have a bit of a flamboyant streak; I love colors and lace and accents like bows and hearts, contrasting materials, etc. I've never seen clothes anywhere else from any other store that comes even close to some of the items I have. I'm not a wealthy person and you don't have to go broke for nice clothes; I've found some great deals and even higher-end stores have killer sales. I think before people start bashing designer clothes, they should go look through some racks of clothes and feel the fabrics and try some things on before being so against them...don't just stay in the junior's section where everything's similar! Go look around the different sections, too. 3nodding
