Oh wait. here it says "Do not shout at random people. You WILL get tranquilized and dragged off by men in white jackets." then they give you a nice coat that keeps you warm! it forces you to hug yourself!

I love it (manga, not anime) because it can be hilarious at times, and really serious at other times, but it always has some deeper meaning. <3 And the depressing parts really make you feel bad for the characters (Unlike in mangas/animes like Naruto-while they are good, if a character gets stabbed, it's rather easy to get over. If you know what I mean).

Thats whats really awesome about the anime. its serious but as a little bit of comedy to lighten the mood. Thats a big reason as to why its my favorite manga.
i know what you mean about the depressing parts but i think thats because you dont like naruto as much as FmA. (thats my theory anyways)

Well, like Nani-san, it made me interested in Philosophy, Chemistry, Biology, all that is in this wonderful series. ^^ It showed me the difference and distance between dreams, truth, and reality. Truth and Reality is in fact not the same. In this world, a world is a person's own story to create. For example, believe that this world is dangerous, then so shall it be dangerous. It might or might not make sense in a way, but the world moves according to everyone's will. Everyone has a role to play in this story (this world) and everyone is linked to one another. We are all chained together by our words we say that cannot be forgived, and our actions we do that cannot be regretted. I know, it seems far-fetched, but if you think about it, it is 100% Truth. Nani-san understands. ^^ (I dunno, I tell this theory to alot of people... I forget who I tell it to, actually. xD)
Something extra: My right arm feels like it's gonna fall off! Gawd, Automail/Prosthetics... are not my kind of thing. The shoulder feels numb, and whenever I try to move it, I hear the bone moving slowly. It's... broken. gonk *screams like Ed*
