((I hope this is okay. I'm not killing Akane off.))
Akane appeared out of the darkness into a clearing not far from Suicide Hill. Flowers were here, their buds closed, and night time creatures ran around. This was a play of joy that contrasted sharply with the dark feeling of the surrounding area. However, Akane was anything but happy, nor was he mad, though, in a few moments, it would seem like he was. He simply stood where he was and fires sprung to life around the clearing, giving light for all to see in the area. A black substance, moving like fire, began to form around Akane until it covered his entire body. This substance gave off a massive amount of heat and all could see the difficulty Akane was having in controlling the massive amount of power. Akane's right arm made a half circle in front of him and, in a claw-like fashion, the black substance shot from his arm and raked through trees as if they were grass blades. It was obvious that what Akane was doing was hurting him, causing him great amounts of pain, however, any tears that appeared on his face were instantly dried by the massive heat.

Kira stepped out from a shadow and used her mind to reach out to him and stroke his cheek. She did not know if he would notice it, but it was a strong power she had.

Akane felt the touch on his cheek, but what he was doing was too far along now to stop it. He was going to use ninety-eight percent of his power and then forcefully restore it, thus increasing his power threshold dramatically. By now, the flame around Akane, combined with him being on his hands and knees, made him look like a black flaming fox as the flame fanned out behind him as if a tail. Akane opened his mouth and let out a roar as his power usage soared dramatically to massively dangerous levels that anyone would be able to notice. Soars opened on his forearms and chest as his shirt, shoes, and bottom of his pants began to simply flake off, as if dried paint. In one final use of power, a pure pillar of black flame shot skyward and slowly dissipated before Akane collapsed to the ground, seemingly barely conscious.

Kira walked over to his body, with all emotions cut off from contact. She nudged his body and said, "You were stupid to do that." Her voice seemed as lifeless as her eyes.

Akane's wounds suddenly began to heal as several symbols, written in the flames that sprung up before, began to glow crimson. His power was forcefully restored in a matter of seconds, thus giving him strength enough to get up again. He stood, staggerd for a second away from Kira, before seeming to be just as sturdy as always, but his eyes showed that he was very tired.
"I never do anything out of stupidity."
Akane's eyes took in all of Kira's body language in a few seconds, only reassuring him of what he already thought.
"Why did you follow me here?"
Akane's voice was cold, as if speaking to someone that he wished he was not, but it was unclear if he did this intentionally, or because he was tired.

Fury crossed Kira's eyes and the shadows of fury crossed her face for a split second before she cut off her emotions again. "You told me I could follow you here. Did you not? Am I mistaken? Am I not supposed to follow a friend, someone I care about a lot?" Her questions had a bite to them, as though bits of her emotions were leaking out of their barrier.

Akane shrugged.
"I did say that, but I didn't expect you to come. As for what you're supposed to do, I do not know. I don't even know what I'm supposed to do, so how can I speak for you. I'm just another stupid guy. Nothing special. I can't read your mind or tell the future, only cause this."
Akane gestured around him and the dozens of destroyed trees.

Kira just crossed her arms and looked at him. "If you were a stupid guy, you wouldn't have followed me around." She shook her head. "Had you not followed me around, we would have never met. And, death is beautiful. Look at me... and wintertime."

Akane shrugged.
"If you say so. Not to seem rude or uncaring, but, right now, I'm really tired, hungry, and thirsty. I wish to get back to the cafe and then to the Inn of Ill Omen and get in my room. You can come with me if you want."
Akane didn't notice that he had not only invited her to the cafe with him, again, but also to his room, but, then again, he was too tired to care.

Hibiki circled the hill while riding on Kalous. He noticed two people down in a clearing. He could sense great amount of power from the area. "What do we have here?"

"Then go!" She hissed, her barrier finally exploading to pieces. "I'll see you there later and--" She stopped. What the hell was around here? Other than their power, nothing should be here... Kira spun around and looked everywhere on the ground, and then up to the sky.

Her body tensed up as she watched carefully. She scanned the movements, the auras and the possible things it could do. "Who the hell are you?" Kira hissed menacingly.
