Shade and Jacob walked toward the asylum doors, listening to the mad screams of pain, terror and pleasure from within. Shade smiled as she happily hopped up to the doors.

Jacob looked around the landscape, interested in this odd place. "So, what are we doing here?" He asked, evilly.

"Visiting my caretaker... Auntie Melony is here." Shade laughed maniacally as she walked through the doors of the asylum.

Kira walked into the asylum and proceeded down one of the hallways. A nurse had stopped her and said, "I'm sorry, but you can't go back there by yourself!"
Kira just glared at the young nurse and shoved her aside, continuing on. She walked into room 14 and glared at what she saw. "The hell are you doing here, maggot?"

Shade turned around and her smile melted off her face. "And you, monster?"

((Lol, I can't help say this, but my cat is sneezing and it sounds hilarious!!!! XD))

Kira looked at Akane and cooled down. Her gaze snapped back to Shade immediately, however, and hatred filled them. "Why are you here?" She growled.

"I'm here to visit Melony!" Shade hissed, fury bubbling in her eyes. Tension between Shade and Kira grew rapidly now; more rapidly than it had for the past few years.

Jacob looked up and stared between Akane and Kira. Who the hell were they, and what the hell was going on? Jacob watched Akane with a confused look, hoping he might know what was happening.

Melony looked up from her dolls, smiling. When she saw Kira's shadowy figure in the doorway, however, he smile faded from her face and an expression of horror crossed it. "K-Kira.." She whispered, dropping her dolls on the ground.

Kira's devious smile grew rapidly, revealing her fangs and an emotion in her eyes that was undistinguishable. "Hello, dear, dear, Melony. You haven't met my new friend, Akane, have you?" She motioned to him.

Again, Jacob looked around the room. Okay, so there was this chick named Kira that does not like Shade that somehow knows Shade's aunt Melony, and some guy that Kira knew who's name was Akane. Something was odd here, and he just waited for answers.

Melony shook her head very little and kept her horrified, wide-eyed gaze on Kira.

"Friends? Wow, I didn't know you could have those!" Shade muttered to herself.

"Shut it, Maggot, before I staple it shut!"

"Hostility? What hostility?" Kira smiled innocently and placed her hand on Akane's chest for reasons unknown. "There's no hostility between Melony and I... right Melony?" Kira asked sweetly, looking at her over Akane's shoulder. "Hostility is between Shade and I." She said bluntly.

Jacob watched and listened. So wait, they were all related some how? How odd. What the hell happened between all of them then?

Shade rolled her eyes. "Damn right there's hostility between you and I, Leech! After what you did to our family...!"

Melony's eyes darted around the room swiftly, from Melony, to Akane, to Shade to Jacob and back to Kira. "H-hello Kira." Melony answered in a shaky voice. "I... how are you? I-I haven't seen you in awhile, and everyone asks about you frequently..." Melony laughed shakily.

Kira's blue eyes scanned Akane's face for a second and she glared over his shoulder and Shade and asked, "You wanna tell him the story your way, Maggot, or should I tell him my way?"

"I don't give a damn! He's got something to do with you, and I want nothing to do you with you, so I want nothing to do with him! Just tell him already!" Shade hissed, crossing her arms. She crossed the room to Jacob's side and said nothing more.

Jacob looked at Shade with a confused look, but he said nothing and let her cuddle up to him for the first and probably the last time in her life.

Kira answered, "Fine." She looked back at Akane, allowing him to see inside of her memory, as if it were a movie.

Kira at thirteen had walked into the living room of her house with arms full of painting supplies. There, on the couch, she saw her mother's leg draped over the side and her cousin's father on top of her mother. She heard her mother moan, just then, and she dropped everything in her arms. It made a large clank on the wood flooring, and her mother and uncle looked up from the couch. Immediatly they moved, for their clothes were still on, thank God! Her mother tried to calm her infuriated daughter. "H-hey there, Kira." She said.
Kira watched them with eyes filled with hatred and betrayal. She began to growl menacingly and her fangs lowered as she walked slowly toward them. "What the hell were you two doing?! What about Dad?! What about Melony!? Your own sister, and you're sleeping around with her husband!?" She turned to her uncle with rage filled eyes. "I'll kill you both!" She hissed angrily.
Her uncle, doing the bold thing, attempted to protect Kira's mother, but he was weak and fell to Kira. Her hatred bubbled, but she could not stand to kill her own mother. She closed her eyes and looked away as the last tear she would ever shed fell from her eye. "Kira! I'm so sorry!" Her mother whined. "Save it!" Kira shouted and ran away.
When the men in the family had found out about what had happened, they only heard half the story. All they heard was that Kira killed Melony's husband, and they went after her. "You monster!" Her father shouted. "You deserve to die!" Her grandfather added in.
They attacked, so she fought back. They put up a good fight, but screams could be heard from the other room. Blood could be seen, splattering against the walls and there Kira stood. Thirteen years old, blood covered body, blood matted hair. Empty. Emotionless. Gone.

And then the movie was over and she looked away angrily.

"You killed my father!" Shade shouted, crying.

"But I didn't have the guts to kill your mother when I should have!" Kira shouted back in hysterics. She was close to crying, but never did a tear fall.

Melony, of course, remembered it all. She found out about the affair awhile back, but she was put in here before that; when she found out the love of her life had fallen to her neice's hand.

Kira's breathing became quicker with the rush of feelings she got when she remembered the story she had buried for so many years. "She... knows... the whole story!"

Jacob's mouth dropped. Wow, an affair in their family. So wait, they were half sisters? Jacob looked down at the tear stained face of Shade. "It's okay... I suppose. It's over and done with... don't worry about it."

"She ... that horrid creature before you in the arms of a poor fool who doesn't know! She killed our family and many more have fallen by her hand! People she never knew!"

Tears streamed down Melony's face. "Kira, darling, I understand how you... why you..." She could not continue, but just assumed that Kira understood. She looked down and picked up her dolls again, just staring at them.

"You understand nothing, Melony. You understand nothing of this pain I feel when I think of Mother's Favorite... I was the first... I was the one born from the faithful parents... and then Maggot came along and screwed it all up. You only understand the pain of your husband falling to your neice's hand and the betrayal of your sister. I feel the betrayal of everyone... and they shall all pay!" Kira hissed.

Kira growled menacingly and asked, "Stop what? What have I done so wrong?"

Jacob watched, confused, yet oddly understanding everything. Shade was still in his arms, sobbing against his shirt which now had a large, wet circle on it.

Melony just watched Akane and every now and then, glanced at Shade and Jacob.
