Nikka swung her messenger bag over her shoulder as she stepped into the Grey Dorms. Looking around, she couldn't help but notice how nice it was; she wasn't used to nice places. She paused for a moment to take everything in before following the map towards the girls side. She soon found her room, and threw her messenger bag on the ground beside the bed she threw herself on. Nikka decided to stay in her room for a few minutes to get some sleep as she hadn't gotten much last night.

Anata wa watashi ga zutto mae ni "sayounara" to yutta hito wo omoidasaseru.
'This place still seems too sterile...'
Alex gave a slight groan before picking up his bags and finding the energy to go and look for an empty room.
'Then again, she'd probably rub my face in a pile of dust if she heard me saying that.'
As he climbed the steps, Alex noticed that the closest room had already been taken with a "do not disturb" sign hung on the door.
'Seems I'm not the first one here...maybe I'll just..'
He remembered an incident last year where a couple of freshmen had done the same thing and ended up spying two senior girls getting changed. Naomi and the leader, the name escaped him at the time, had forced them to do everyone's chores for the following week. Needless to say, Alex pulled himself away from the occupied room and found that the next one over was unoccupied.
'S'pose I could set up camp here.'
He nudged the door open with his foot and, almost, immediately dropped his suitcases onto the floor. Even though there was only four, in-all, Alex couldn't muster up the grive to actually go through them at this time.
'Hey, a room with a view.'
Alex launched himself over his suitcases and slid himself into a large corner of the room, with a bay window, looking out onto the campus. The middle part of the window could be opened, outwards, like a door if you turned a crank at the bottom, but the crank seemed to be missing. Most likely, this was because of red-faction seniors last year setting up a string of robberies as, what they claimed to be, a "senior prank". It looked as though Alex actually did have some work to get done today...even if classes hadn't begun yet.
You remind me of someone I said goodbye to a long time ago.

Nikki sat up, rubbing her eyes. She'd gotten a good bit of sleep and was feeling much more refreshed. Stretching, she got up off of her bed and began to unpack her things on her side. A few picture frames were placed on her desk, her clothing was folded or hung, and she'd placed her books under her bed alongside her messenger bag. Happy with her room, Nikka sat back down on her bed and pulled out the Italian book she was working her way through.
