I wouldn't say I'm a diehard fan, but I really do appreciate M. Night Shyamalans films. I know a lot of people have problems with them though. Saying that Lady in the Water was boring, or The Village wasnt scary and had a really stupid ending, or The Happening just failed all together.
I disagree.
What people fail to realize is that his movies are all ment to have deeper profound meanings. And when watched just on the surface, those meanings are missed all together. Granted, he could have made the meanings a bit more noticable, I still think that his works are genius and thoughtfully deep. He puts more effort into his movies than most and I believe he deserves enough credit to post about him.
What does everyone else think about his movies? What meanings did you take out of them?
