Though I doubt she meant it the way it sounds. Or there's some other motive behind it... Maybe she really doesn't like the boy and doesn't want you dating him?
But don't feel too bad. At least your mother still gives you some type of relationship "advice". After I hit 21 and still never had a girlfriend in my entire life, or any girls even remotely interested in me, I think my mother just gave up on me. sweatdrop
