Premise
Game Testing
Two little words that make the nerds amongst us positively salivate with joy.
Our lucky player characters have been selected to test Bioshock: Infinite before any one else; they’re a wide sampling, fans and non-fans, men and women of various nationalities and walks of life.
What they don’t yet know if that each of them has been selected for another reason; they all hear voices. Well, a voice anyway!
Each person contains a Gheist, a character from a video game and the scientists of the world are keen to understand the phenomenon and manipulate it for the unique abilities they possess.
These people are about to find themselves in deeper then they ever imagined.
Voices
Being ordinary is something that our play characters can only really dream of; heading along as always, these people found one day that they heard the voice of another in their heads and it’s been there ever since.
Marked
Branded by their gheists, our PC’s hide this from all they encounter afraid of what will happen should anyone find out just what they have in their heads.

Conditions
- 1 Gheist per character
- Any character intending to be in the opening selection must be over 18 years of age due to the age constraints on the game being tested
- God strength game characters are allowed but are limited in what they can teach they hosts, they also won’t pass on new abilities as quickly less powerful gheists
- GM’s word is law

Name: Caterina Draper
Age: 19
Nationality: British
Appearance: Standing at about average height, Caterina has the right weight and build for her age though her legs are longer then average. Her dull brown hair hands to just below her shoulders and she ties it back in a scruffy plait to keep it out of her face.
Her dull blue eyes have something of an older then her years quality but given her gheist this isn’t much of a surprise.
Personality: Possessing average intelligence, Caterina is none the less quite capable of looking after her herself. A snarker by nature, Caterina is ordinarily polite if not a little frank on occasion but under her scathing comments is a good heart and kindly soul. Fiercely loyal and stubborn when it comes to those she cares for, Caterina is not one to abandon her friends and will see things through to the end.
Named after Caterina Sforza, Caterina takes great delight in this fact since she considers Caterina Sforza to be a strong figure to aspire to be like.
History: Technically, Caterina is Italian as she was born in the Italian city of Rome but her parents moved to England when she was just five years old.
Despite the move, Caterina continued to learn Italian from her father until her parents divorced and he moved back to Italy when she was 10; her mother found another partner but part of Caterina mourned for the rather more carefree time that she spent with her whole family.
Her half brother Jacob was born when she was 11 yet Caterina has never been close to him, preferring the company of her friends to her family.
When she was 13, Caterina got into video games and prefers RP’s to any other genres; she played these pretty exclusively for a long time before moving out in to other games, including the one her Gheist is from.
Needless to say, given the pride she has in her name sake, Caterina positively squealed when Caterina Sforza turned up in Assassin’s Creed 2 !
Having only discovered Bioshock a few short months before the start of play, Caterina was delighted to be chosen to be part of the test group for Bioshock: Infinite and was quite content to jet off across the world to test it.
Gheist: Kain

Bio: The titular ‘hero’ of the Legacy of Kain series of games, Kain started out as an assassinated noble who chose undeath to seek revenge on those responsible for his death. Eventually becoming the king of Nosgoth, Kain soon comes to realise that his world is doomed and chances everything on a rare coin flip to save Her.

Name: hugh weiss
Age: 21
Nationality: british
Appearance: tall and lanky with very pale skin hugh looks more like a swimmer then a gamer. short croped black hair that no matter how much product he puts in it still looks like he just woke up. grey eyes and a smirk often hint at the fact he is thinking something he knows he best not say
Personality: hugh is highly intelligent and as such often has to play the idiot to fit in. he has a calm nature .............up into the point where he is pushed to far , at which point he can be prone to a fairly violent and vocal response. however like most brits he often uses sararism to rely his point
History: As his name imply s hugh family originally were french . however his family was lucky enough to emigrate in 1939 and never moved back. ironically the one subject he failed at school was French never bothering to learn the language. well what's the point all games are either in English or Japanese...................(going to add more later)

Bio: Kainé is a scantily clad, swords woman with a foul mouth. She is also possessed by a Shade who dubs himself Tyrann. As a result of her upbringing and Tyrann's occupation of her body, this gave her a disposition towards being cold and cruel - albeit the fact that more often than not she is shy and collected.
