Ahri fidgeted outside the door to the garage, his nerves and anxiety getting the better of him... This could either go really really good... or horribly wrong and he'd probably hafta explain some stuff he really didn't feel like explaining... But the longer he held off on doing anything, the longer things didn't happen. Things needed to happen, so it was time to stop dragging his feet.

When asked, Ahri was pointed in the direction of the garage, where the Mauvian had set up a workshop and usually was... Soooo here he was...

Now or never.

"Soleiyu?" He asked, knocking on the door to the garage and peaking his head in. "Are you in here? I uh... I kinda wanted to ask you for a favor? The magic kind of favor, if possible." Oh god he sounded like an idiot.

"Oh?" Soleiyu asked, though he didn't look up from his project. He was welding something small, with a handmade tool he'd obviously customized for his comfort. His long tail hung over the edge of the bench, twitching with interest.

Soleiyu's work station was set up on the wall furthest from the rest of the house. The garage was a hotspot for activity, in part because of the basement suite--where Talia and Zac stayed, and in part because of the attic, where stairs led up to where Julian and Riker stayed. Of course, there was the washer and dryer, and storage, too.

The garage was a bit chilly, with the air conditioning cranked up so Soleiyu could work comfortably.

He had a slew of small metal pieces he was carefully working together, and a few chip boards he'd recently soldered.

"Well, I'm full of magic. I might be in the mood for favors, too. Come over here, have a seat. If you're going to watch me work, put on goggles. I don't want you to hurt your eyes."

Soleiyu was wearing a small welding mask, customized for his face, and a little apron. If it were on anyone else, it might have been cute, but Soleiyu was deeply engrossed in his work so it just looked like business.

A pair of goggles, with deeply tinted lenses, hung in plain sight from a hook on the wall, and a chair was next to them--as if Soleiyu was used to company while he worked.
