Premise
Set in on an usual world - Myra - this RP deals with a grand war, the changing of the times and inter personal relationships. It follows a group of students who find themselves thrown into war when their world is destroyed.
Most of them have never seen a battle but have trained for it; their short term goal is to reach somewhere safe. Myra has been torn by its war, near torn in half by the battle that rages, equally split between the two warring sides. Double agents, spies and suspicion are common place; as this small band travels they are likely to meet all three.

Classes
Here you’ll find the available job classes, their rarity and weapons of choice: Swordsman - common - swords, axes Gunman - common - guns, crossbows (Guns are new to this world, many prefer to use both guns and crossbows.) Cavalier - uncommon - spears, swords, axes - Mounted unit Ranger - uncommon - guns, bows, swords - Mounted unit White Mage - highly uncommon - healing magic, weak light spells Black Mage - incredibly uncommon - offensive magic, statuses Spy - common - short swords Assassin - uncommon - short swords, throwing objects, wire
Notes: Rangers and cavaliers are advanced level sword/gunmen, due to the rarity of horses this hardly occurs - must be over the age of 22. Assassins are an advancement of the spy, but one seldom gained - must be over 18. Given the state of the war there are likely to be a lot of trainee spies.

Uniform
Due to the fact that these character were in school at the time they are probably in uniform; the school uniform for each class is as followed:
Swordsman, Gunman 1x tunic - dark green - dark red for gunmen 1x trousers - dull brown 1x cape - red for gunmen/rangers, green for swordsmen/cavaliers 1 pair - gloves - brown leather 1 pair - boots - light brown leather
Swordsman 2x - sword of choice 1x - boot dagger 1x - hip dagger 1x - back mounted axe - one handed
Gunman 2x - pistol 1x - boot dagger - self-defence only 1x - bow 1x - box ammo (usually kept in pockets) 1x - quiver of arrows
Cavalier (Same as the basic kit for a swordsman) 1x - spear 1x - chest plate Horse gear, which must be maintained
Ranger (Same as the basic kit for a gunman) 1x sword (One handed) 1x light leather tunic - dull brown
White Mage 1x - white robe 1x - white shirt 1x - white trousers 1 pair - gloves - white leather - dull 1 pair - shoes - white leather - dull 1x - white oak staff - plain 1x - spell book
Black Mage 1x - royal blue trench coat 1x - cream cotton shirt 1x - trousers cream 1 pair - gloves - red leather - dull 1 pair - boots - dark red leather - dull 1x - staff - plain oak - no crystal 1x spell book
Thief/Assassin Full set - black clothing 2x - black bladed dagger

Name of Horse: Colour: Type: (Horse or pony - a ranger is more likely to ride a sure footed pony) Treat: (Specific training treat that the horse likes) If your unit is mounted you must also make sure your horse is seen enough for us to know you have it; a horse and it’s rider have very firm bonds.
Psychic abilities It’s quite up to the player whether or not their character has a psychic ability but it’s limited to only one ability and is never hugely powerful.
Type suggestions: Telepath: Basic level mind reading, cannot affect a persons behaviour.
Empath: Feels emotions but cannot alter them.
Mapper: Takes a reading from the ground in order to create a mental map, this is often incomplete and hard to understand.
Whisperer: Can be an animal type but only one, speaks to and understands animals.
And any others you can think of, within reason of course.

Players Name: Pilotslover Character Name: Hiren Age: 16 Zodiac Sign: Libra Blood type: A positive Class: Black Mage Hair colour and style: Hiren’s hair is shoulder length and wavy brown in colour, it’s often tied in a pony tail with a dark blue ribbon. Eye colour: light blue/grey Scars: The palms of Hiren’s hands, under his gloves, are scared by magical residue. He also has a cane mark on the back of his left hand. Height: Average Handedness: Right Personality: Due to being trained alone, Hiren is incredibly shy around others, which isn’t much of a surprise. This doesn’t mean he isn’t capable of holding a conversation, just that he doesn’t like starting them; he has a very sarcastic sense of humour. He is rather prone to explosive violence if he gets worked up enough for it and this is never a good thing in a Black Mage. History: Hiren lived a good early life with his parents but this swiftly changed when his magical potential became clear at the age of five. Forced to enrol in the military school, he felt a great deal of contempt towards the head of the school and his own fledgling abilities. His training led to him becoming a recluse; due to his age, Hiren hasn’t been on an active mission yet but he is very accurate in practice. Psychic ability: None

School systems
This section is to give you an idea of what your character went through in schooling, the levels of strictness they’re used too and the relationships they’d potentially have.
Age 5 - Students are accepted into school at this age - unless they’re a mage type who are located due to their magical potential. Age 12 - Students progress to the second level of training (High school). Age 16 - First combat mission. Age 18 - Some students at this age are offered mounts and the chance to become a year group leader - these also act as leaders in battle. Age 21 - Training is complete and your character leaves to fight.
How groups are formed: Until the age of 15, students are trained only with their own type of students. At 15, the students then meet their fighting teams and are expected to work with them. At 18 they could potentially meet their units white/black mage. At 21, these groups are probably split so that the former students can fit into ranks where needed.
Black Mages are an incredibly rare commodity so the chances of having worked with one before are very slim indeed. At this time, Hiren is one of only two in training.

Religion
Whilst religion has suffered a severe slump with the start of the war, there are still pockets of fierce believers in its teachings.
The core scriptures of this religion believe that -
When the world began there was a white mage, Maha and a black Mage, Medan; together they created the world and for a time it was good.
Maha’s plants and animals grew at a steady rate in harmony with Medan’s elements but their world felt incomplete. Together they created man, bestowing on him the blessings of both the Goddess and the God; there are still people who believe that they are made of both Black and White magic.
Then Medan’s mind became corrupt, he strayed from the acts of harmonising Earth, fire, wind and water, turning his thoughts towards ways in which to make man the strongest species on the planet. Maha resisted, she wanted her creations to live in harmony; thus the first crusade began.
Medan was restrained beneath the Earth, some devout religious types refuse to eat anything from the ground or under water due to this; here his anger festered and he gave ‘birth’ to child mages, these black Mages made their way to the surface to experience life there. Medan’s children met with resistant as they tried to live their lives and so forced themselves to live in solitude as Maha’s children prospered.
The second grand crusade - a desperate attempt by the followers of Maha to wipe out Medan’s ‘corruptive elements’ - began roughly 300 years before this RP takes place. During this time it is believed that over five hundred Black Mages were slaughtered.
Then the magic started to wane.
Gradually the magic of white mages diminished, as if some sort of counter balance had vanished; the few black mages who had survived were not enough to keep things in balance and whole strains of white magic vanished. Families who had had magic in their blood for generations were suddenly incapable of using it. The crusade had killed Myra’s magic and unless balance was restored there would be no way of bringing it back.
So the crusade was ended, just as the war began; Black and white mages were conscripted since their opposition had no mages, in the war it is mages that give our forces the edge. Without them Myra’s cause is lost but this doesn’t stop people from hating and subjugating both kinds.

Players Name: Inanis Character Name: Aingeal Saimhain (pronounced 'Sow-en') Age: 18 Zodiac Sign: Aries Blood type: A Class: Gunman Hair colour and style: Mahogany/red, long with choppy bangs, usually in a ponytail Eye colour: Light blue Scars: A burn/wound scar on their left upper arm. Very slight one running from the inside corner of their eye to their cheek (accident with a dagger), and a slash across her stomach (she has no luck with daggers). Height: About 5' 6" Handedness: Right Personality: Aingeal is rather sporadic, prone to sudden mood swings. She's off in her own little world as she isn't exacly gung-ho with all the warfare. Though Ai is rather meek, she has a violent temper and is not one to mess with--especially when she's armed. Which is almost all the time. She also has a tendency to beat herself up about little things, and is harsh to herself in training. History: There's nothing really special about her. Oldest of two children, she'd had a lot of pressue put on her to be 'perfect'. That, added to intense teaseing, led to her sudden distance. But, all in all, she's kind of boreing. Player's Name: Itsaso Character Name: Alexey Zolnerowich Age: 19 Zodiac Sign: Capricorn Blood type: O-negative Class: Gunman Hair colour and style: Curly dark blond, about an inch in length. Most of the time, it's a disheveled mass because he always keeps running his hands through it. Eye colour: Murky, almost swamp water, green. Scars: Plenty, the most prominent one crossing his left collarbone and another one over his right shoulder to halfway down his upper arm. Height: 5'11" Handedness: Left Personality: Eccentric would be one way of putting it, with a thin layer of pride. Cheerful to a fault, Alexey seems to bounce through life without thinking ahead of him for more than one day. He's very open about what he thinks, feels and how he sees things, he can be almost childish when he doesn't get his way, but never for long. On a note for the mental safety of people that surround him: feeding Alexey things containing high amounts of sugar is a bad, bad thing. History: The baby of the family, Alexey was always a little shielded from the real world. His homelife was a very happy one, if at times more than a little dysfunctional due to the middle son. He enrolled into school without any problems. Alexey's first mission was a bit of a drama, not of the bad kind, just the 'please someone gag him now' kind. Psychic ability: None

Her hair is secured in place with metal bands. (Image for the bored.) Eye colour: Green Scars: The palm of her hands, due to Sword training. Height: 5'7" Handedness: Right Personality: Akane is the talk of the crowd, very social and energetic; she stands out almost anywhere. Relatively calm, it's hard to get her mad, and when her anger boils to such a point, it's a good idea to get away; fast. Add her protective nature and courage to the mix and it makes her a good candidate for leading in situations. History: Being born into a relatively rich and outgoing family, Akane, the only child, was never forced anything upon her. So it's no surprise that she sometimes acts like a brat, wanting everything her way. She decided to enlist to receive something meaningful out of her life; to know that she was able to protect those she cared about. Psychic ability: None.

Eye colour: Grey Scars: Running from just in front of the ear down to his chin (right). Missing right earlobe. Back of his right hand. Both forearms. Multiple chest and back. From hip to knee on right. Extensive burns on left hip, left torso and left arm. Missing Height: 5'11" Handedness: Ambidextrous Personality: Frequently depressed with the futility of war. Tried to bury all traces of any emotion he considered to be a weakness. As such it seems like he has very little personality though you might catch his lips twitching to a joke every now and then. Mildly sadistic. Prone to extreme violence. Strange sense of honour. History: Vagrant has no recollection of his parents, having been left in a basket at the doors of the academy as a baby. He trained from a young age and quickly showed proficiency with a sword. At age 14 he was having a quiet smoke with a friend and, tossing a butt over his shoulder, set light to a barrel of gunpowder. He dived and avoided the worst of the blast, but still managed to set himself on fire and get buried alive. He developed a fear of the latter, a fascination with the former and gave up smoking for good. Recently graduated Vagrant only saw one battle. One his side lost. He was left for dead and only survived because someone with basic medical training was able to tell him what to do before dying himself. Vagrant wishes to seek out the kin of this man and thank them personally before apologising for failing to save him. Psychic ability: Precognition (Can sense events a small number of seconds in to the future, but how sharp the sense is varies each time.)

Players Name: Rinel_underwood Character Name: Rayne Larson Age: 18 Zodiac Sign: Sagittarius Blood type: O+ Class: spy Hair colour and style: Long, straight black hair down to her waist. She tends to keep it in a long braid. It's not uncommon for her to also tie something heavy. like a ring, at the end of the braid and use that for an interesting type of weapon. Eye colour: Dark blue Scars: Quite a few for a spy, most on her back and around her ribs as repremands for getting caught in the beginning. The most prominent one cuts through the corner of her right eyebrow, running half way to her ear. She also has a lot of claw marks on her hands and arm from training with hawks. Height: 5 foot 4ish Handedness: left for writing, but right for almost everything else. She wasn't born to be left handed, but when she was learning to write she had a broken right arm, so it just happened that way. Personality: Overall, Rayne is not an evil, or rude character... she just doesn't talk much. In her job, it was something that could result in getting caught, so she learned early to keep chatter to a minimum. On the job, she is cold, silent, emotionless, and very professional. Sometimes, even off the job she is like this, throwing out rude or sarcastic remarks without thought. The rest of the time, though, she likes to hang out with others and, while she never is very charismatic, she does like to converse with others. She's rather stoic, she wouldn't mention a wound till she was passed out, and she wouldn't mention things that are bothering her, well, ever. All of this makes her a good spy, though. History: Rayne's life was a very real one from early on. Her father worked at the academy, and her mother stayed home to take care of the children. Rayne has an older brother and two younger sisters. Her older brother was a swordsman, but died shortly after getting out of the school. Rayne never hesitated when she joined the academy, though her choice to be a spy did cause a small stir in the family. Most of her family went out as swordsmen, not spies... her father thought them to be backstabbers. Rayne finds the sneaking and the like to be an interesting challenge, though. Psychic ability: Whisperer to avians, or birds... mostly hawks or falcons.

History: Being a capable white mage he was pulled into training early, he was trained alone but often wandered at night pulling small pranks on the other students to amuse himself, he was a loner but never intended to be.
