What's the deal with breeding?
Well, you see... When two people fall in love... Oh, wrong breeding? Oh. Well, Fuchse just need genetic material from somewhere to make little eggs. Only females can lay eggs, however, so male mates need to find someone who's willing to lay their egg. *shrugs*
By the prices, it says "(###c.)" as well as gold? What's that?
Ah, that'd be gem credits. As 'g' already stands for gold, we've used 'c' instead.
Gem credits?
Gem credits allow people who've earned gems (or gem shards) to pay without Gaia gold. Most everything can be paid for this way (not everything though). It's like a coupon. Of course, you don't have to pay for the entire thing in credits. You can pay in both credits and gold.

No. Gems are given out randomly or to people who've earned them. By randomly, I mean that I post that some gems were found, then someone claims them. Very simple. Not random meaning I hand them over to some one just because. Gems cannot be bought.

Egg: The egg is the inital stage of the fuchse. This is how you will see them in a flatsale. However, once they know who their owner is, they immediatly want to join the world and will come to you hatched.
Fluff ball: Also affectionatly known as the "fluff ball with teeth." In this stage they are quite young and haven't yet developed the ability to talk very well. Some words come to them easily; others will not. As they grow older, they'll become more and more able. Right now, they can probably fit in your cupped hands. Their magic becomes evident and rather erratic.
At least two (2) weeks.
Child/teen: They've learned to speak though perhaps sometimes you wish they'd not. Their moods swing more than a pendulum, and it only gets worse as they grow older. At this stage, they're starting to form attachments with other fuchse and stand almost as tall as one's knee. Abilities should have been learned how to be handled.

Adult: They're all grown up and not a moment too soon. Their moods have stopped swinging so much. Socialising is important to a well developed fuchse, though the extent of that socialization is dependant upon their personalities. They stand midway between one's knee and one's waist, and have pretty much fully mastered their abilites.
Personalities
Spring: Springs are usually shy and quiet, possibly a bit indrawn. They are usually the more artistic of the bunch as well.
Summer: Summers are bright and peppy and hyper and bouncy. Heavens help anyone who wants to be sullen around a Summer. They tend towards being the most social fuchse, as well as what one might consider warriors, and are interested in everything they can possibly be, though sometimes their attention spans might be a little sh-- OOoh, shiny object!
Fall:Falls are old souls, usually taking the time to think before they act, unlike the impulsive summers. Smart as a whip, usually, as well. They are slightly more reserved than summers, though not as much as the Winters and Springs.
Winter: Winters are the most indrawn social recluses of the lot. That's not to say that they hate everyone and have no friends; rather, they're just harder to get to know as there's a certain inborn distrust of things familiar. However, winters do tend to have a greater control over their ability though are usually slightly slower than the others to grow.
Alignments
North: A northern alignment is one of the most common, as the north is generally regarded as the Atmosphere Controls. This means they can control wind, water, lightning, etc. Everything except fire.
East: The eastern alignment is associated with Life. Those who can grow plants, heal, or talk with all animals are aligned to the east.
South: South controls Fire. Any fuchse with fire abilities has a southern alignment. No ifs ands or buts.
West: Not much is known about the west. Those with psychic abilities and those other intangible abilities are found with this alignment.

Growth Potion - 150g (300c.) per stage (not for adults)
This little potion will allow your fuchse to grow much faster than normal. If you want to turn your fluff in to an adult, it will cost 300g (2 stages up, 150 per stage.)
(24 - 48 hours to take effect)
Freeze Potion - 150g (300c.) (not for adults)
If for some reason you'd like to keep your fuchse at it's current stage, this is the potion for you. Just let me know when you'd like to continue the growth of your pet.
(immediate effect, but 24 - 48 hours for growth to resume after notification)
Alignment Change - 750g (1,500c.) (teens and adults only)
If you decide that your fuchse would be happier with a different alignment, you ought to buy them one of these potions. It will change an East into a West, etc.

Multiple Alignments - 2000g for 2nd; 5,000g for third; 9,000g for fourth
Some fuchse may want to be aligned in multiple directions. This can be done via this snazzy little potion. Not only will they be able to control the firey south, but also the cooling waters of the north as well. Yes, these are expensive, but we don't want lots of all powerful creatures running about now do we?
NOTE: You MUST purchase the 2nd before the 3rd, and the 3rd before the 4th. But you CAN do it all at once.

Additional Aspects of Control - 1,000g for 2nd; 3,000g for 3rd, 5,000g for 4th ( 2k c., 6k c., 10k c.)
If your fuchse is perfectly content with their eastern alignment, but wish to control other aspects of their alignment, possibly this could be for you. This will allow them to not only be able to grow anything, but to make anything eddible as well, etc.

Dragon Wings - 2,000g (4,000c.) (teens and adults only)
Would you like your fuchse to fly? The process used to be rather painful, but one fuchse owner came across a delightful purple glowing substance that dulls the pain. Now it's virtually pain free!
Gems?
Recently people have come across some gems. As of right now, there are only six known gems, all of a certain rarity. Gems can only be gained randomly or be given as rewards for good RPing.
Red gems are the most common, so have a value of 50c.
Green gems have a value of 100c.
Blue gems are worth 250c.
Black gems are 500c.
Rainbow gems are the second most rare and are worth 1,000c.
Clear gems are rare and few between, the diamonds of their kind, and have a value of 5,000c.
Shards? Shards are generally worth about a tenth of the value of a whole gem unless otherwise noted.

Fuchse can mate, just like other creatures. However, there are some differences. Mates are for life. Gender doesn't matter; females can be mates with females, males with males, and of course, males with females. There can even be same gender breeding. There are some reprocussions though.
Important: Only females can lay eggs, so if a male pairing want to have eggies, they need to find a surrogate mother - the children will still be from their genetics, not hers. Surrogate mothers will recieve 20% of the breeding fee.
The usual ammount of eggs laid is between three (3) and five (5). Sometimes there're more. Each parent may keep an egg. They may either allow the remaining eggs to go to specified friends, or they can let the eggs go up for adoption (contest, raffle, etc. - however you want), or let them go into the flatsale and recieve 50% of the flatsale price.
Once they've bred, the mother will lay the eggs within one to two weeks - the longer it takes, the more eggs there will be. The females are usually snappier during this time - beware their teeth! The resultant eggs will be posted in the mother's journal, and parents will have first pick. Notifications will be posted in the shop and PMed to those involved.
Breeding costs: 4000g to be paid by the owners how they see fit.
