See how many breeds you can think of off the top of your head! No looking on websites or in books/ magazines. Breed name is mandatory. All else optional. Don't cheat of other people's posts.
1 Point: Breed name
2 Points: 1 Breed Characteristic
3 Points: 2-3 Breed Characteristics
4 Points: 4+ Breed Characteristics
3 Points: Country Of Orgin
4 Points: At least two "ancestor breeds"
2 Points: At least one fondation shire/ mare, or other prominate horse
EXAMPLE:
Quarter Horse. Heavily muscled, 15-17 hands, all solid colors, Poses "Cow Sense", United States, Throughbreds and local stock.

Paint Horse Graceful and stocky in build 14hh (paint pony) to 17 hh All solid colors (breeding stock), All colors acceptable. Patterns are Tobiano, Tovero, Overo, Rabicano, Medicine hat, sabino, splashed white. Can have 1 Blue eye, 2 blue eyes, or both brown eyes. AQHA and APHA horses are able to be registered in both breed registries. They originated in the US, from Quarter Horse stock, and were originally thought to be the product of the natives' horses, and so were put down. They can also be a percentage of Thoroughbred. Cherry Milkshake If only I knew how to show my horse's pictures on Gaia I would be more than glad to join. I wish I could put pictures on Gaia to. Do you think we could just copy and paste?
