This subforum exists for character shrines.

I would rather you request for a character shrine to be made then add one yourself. But if you still want to create one yourself, then please follow this strict layout policy.

To give you a better idea, I'll use the character shrine for Pamela Ibis for as an example.

1. Naming a shrine:
When naming your shrine, give the title first.

Example: Grimoire Library - A Shrine to Pamela Ibis

Make sure that the title has something to do with the character in question.
If you can't think of anything, don't worry, just leave it black and I'll include one.

After the title, there should be a dash and spaces to break the title and the name of the character.

Example: Grimoire Library - A Shrine to Pamela Ibis
Then add the following text: A Shrine to [Character Name].

2. Post Style:
Before anything else, make sure that Post Style is set to Ornate!!
It cannot be edited later so if it's not set to Ornate, I will recreate the entire shrine!!

3. Shrine Layout:
The first thing the shrine must have is a subtitle that tells the reader what this shrine is dedicated to:

This is the most common format:
This is a fan shrine to [Character Name].

Below the title (and additional space break), add a picture of the specific character. Do not use pictures websites such as AnimeSuki, RPGamer or GameSpot! That's a must not. The image has to be from your own image host.

I prefer to use a picture with a transparent or white background.
If there's a version with better quality, I'll replace it the current with the better one (whether it's from my own findings or donations from others).

Below the picture, drop it down another space, if you have any special media to add, like music, video's, or a character gallery, this is the place for it.

Drop it down yet another space and add: "Fanlist:".
That way anyone that posts in the thread regarding themselves as fans can have their names added to the list.

Make sure that the text is set to a color similar to the character design scheme.

Additionally, make sure that the Text Size is: Large "18", Align: is set to: "Center", and Italic is on.

When finished, add a poll, and make sure the topic is set to: "Sticky".

And you're done!! ^_^

This set of instructions/rules might sound strict, but there is a good reason for that. Since this is a unique subforum for character shrines, it must be well maintained so that there's a consistent flow from shrine to shrine.
So please follow these instructions accurately.

Remember, I said I'd rather people request for a fan shrine then create one on their own.

If you want to do this quicker, here's a premade layout:

[i][align=center][color=darkblue][size=18]
This is a shrine for fans of [Character Name].

[img]Add Character Image[/img]

Special: (You specify)

If your a fan of [Character Name], Then Swear Allegiance Now!!!

Fan List:

[/size][/color][/align][/i]

If you've added a shrine, please remember to add a post with a link directed to the shrine in the Shrine List thread.

This is additional and not part of the original layout set up by Palsa-san, but as I keep to my duties of adding character profiles, I believe that a format is needed to insure that the consistency of shrines remain preserved.

1. Make sure you copy the [opening tags] and [/closing] tags.

Place closing tags BELOW the picture tag.
Place the opening ABOVE "other media" or text below the picture.

Doing this will insure the layout scheme of each shrine is left intact. Without these tags, the layout will be disrupted due to the start of new codes (aka quote tags).

In between lies the [ quote ] profile.

2. Profile Layout

[ quote="Title of "book" the info originates" ]Name:
Age:
Voice Actor:

Description: ...[ / quote ]

Of course, remove spaces and fill in proper information.

3. Obtaining Profile Information
I usually look over the game manual, in-game manual, various websites, and my own knowledge to input information. Stats are often found in official websites while descriptions can be modified with information that correlates to the character.

However, please try your best to refrain from inserting spoilers as there might be users who are not acquainted with the character yet and may want to find out on their own. If it's not possible, then try to keep it minimal.

If possible, also don't include biased information as well. If I see it, I'll most likely modify it to be more suitable or omit it altogether.
