Have you ever had a ghostly encounter? If so, explain?

I suppose I should start out by telling my latest ghost story. It isn't the only one I have had, but it is the most recent; so here goes. I was laying in bed one morning half awake listening to my boyfriend out getting ready for work and dreading having to get up soon myself. A few minutes later he came in and said goodbye, then walked out of the room, walked out the front door, and deadbolted the lock from outside. Just then, I heard this really weird noise, like lots of people laughing really loud; it got louder and louder and turned into a high pitched shrill, and then my whole body froze up and I couldn't even move my mouth to talk. I was basically pertified where I was laying. It was like that for about 20 or so seconds and then I didn't feel it anymore and was able to roll over. But, as soon as I did it happened again, this time I felt like someone was standing over me, watching me. This time, it lasted longer, but eventually it subsided and I rolled onto my back to face the cieling; well, it happened one more time, but this time I fought to yell out "If someone is here, leave me he f*&^ alone." It stopped, and I haven't had any creepy vibes here since. I suppose I should mention that someone offed themselves here before we moved in. My boyfriend didn't tell me that until after that crap happened!! I dunno, what do you think?

Yes, I do believe in them.
I've had a few encounters.
I'd rather keep them to myself though.

I can't remember any specific encounters, but I definitely believe. I remember sitting around watching a 10 hour Ghost hunters marathon on TV. rofl But seriously, it was sweet...the hair on my neck was standing by the end of it. I think those shows get to me mostly because I do believe...when I watch shows on like Nessie and stuff, it doesn't suck me in as much.

Well, cause you've never been to the Loch have you?
Bah, I keep seeing and hearing people. And it happened to both my dad and I while we were at the store. We both just kinda turned and looked around and then at each other.
Apparently, he's like me. Rather. I'm like him in that aspect.

Nevar. cry
I would love to go see Loch Ness.
But I totally hear stuff like that all the time too. Also, at my work, there's a theory that the projection booth is haunted...either that or just creepy.

Closing booth is ftw. No customers, just miles and miles of film. I love it. And I got to take home trailer reels from my favorite movies...how's THAT for a collectors item? d= Closing concessions as a manager however...let's just say I was at work til 4 in the morning Saturday night...
