Thank you for joining this guild and welcome!
I hope you have the same intentions as me, working hard on becoming a mangaka, or giving others tips about it =D
The main rules?
That be;
*Be nice to each other, I hate mean people, they should go away.
*Don't critisize other people's work unless they ask you to.
*Stretching pages is not such a good idea, it’s ennoying to read. If you want to show a big picture, simply put in a link.
*I don't mind scolding, but the admins do sweatdrop . So keep it at a minimum level.
*If you want to make hentai or yaoi manga, keep the juicy stuff to yourself wink .
*Don't steal other peoples work!
People work hard on everything they make, so you should understand why.
Further more:
If you want to be crew member or such, ask me. And explain to me why.
If you have a good reason, then I shouldn't be able to resist wink .
I hope this guild will be of help to you and just to have fun, can’t do anything without fun.
I thought it would be nice if we'd get to know each other. So here's a thread to do that^^. Write a little something about yourself and read things about others.
Doesn't really matter what, maybe what manga you like, what you're working on, what your favourite colour is or where you come from.

Hola, I have many aliases and pen names. You can call me either Toro or Kei, I don't mind. I'm also sometimes called Spirit, Raven, L, Carrot Soup, Tsue, Tori, Tobi, Sankai, Rune, Saul, and Sol... Yeeeeaaaah... Anyways, I'm still in high school, in California, and I plan on sending a comic to some publishing company by the time I get a steady job as a teacher; but currently, I just enjoy drawing manga for fun. X3 My current projects are a manga about vampires (Insomnia, the link's in my sig), and a short story I'm working on for this contest. I heart the environment, so be scared if I start to rant. ^_^;;; I also have an odd obsession with cute things, especially pictures of food with faces. And I also like random pms. X3

I (as everyone else here, i guess) am planning on becoming a mangaka. xD
I have done the work on planning out my life. I hope to get practice done over the summer and am in fine arts in university. I am planning on using the JET Programme to get me over to japan with a job where I will go from there to apply to Kyoto Seika; which has a manga degree.
I hope that this forum is helpful and useful for both me and everyone else here! ^_^

I have been drawing manga for 4 years now, also aiming to become a mangaka.
I'm from sweden, I mostly draw horror, drama, humor and fantasy.
what I'm working on now is a manga called, Ichiban no sekai (world no.1)
which is about... O.o'' um hard to explain xD.. to much to explain maybe...
and I'm planning another manga "salty kiss" which is about a girl who is in love with 2 boys (who also are twins) she is together with one of them and then suddenly want the other one, so she goes to a witch to grant her wish to make the other one in love with her. (and of course the witch asks for a price in return)
I just started with the whole manga making '^^ so I'm not that good.... >.<

Hello! I'm Kurohyou-Chan, you can call me..well whatever name that's associated with my name lol xD
I'm 18 years old, and have been drawing ever since I can remember. I remember when I first tarted drawing in the manga style...It was one of the few ways I could express my art in the most fun & creative way. So now I'm going to art school to improve myself & become a manga-ka! ^^
I'm from NYC, and the stories I create are usually romantic comedies, with a mix of pure randomness heart I've been drawing in the manga style for about 5 years now, and I plan on making it my career (plus being a vet tech to support myself lol)
Besides drawing, I love listening to music, video games, hanging out with my friends, and driving my loving bf crazy xD

I'm 21 (argh, old) and have drawn all my life. These last years I have had an increased interest in drawing comics especially, and manga is a great inspiration.

Ooo... You guys are so full of aspirations. DX
You might notice I'm not very confident in myself. I've drawn various webcomics in the past three years and none of them have gotten past the first chapter. I'm easily discouraged by flames. I have no aspirations to become a mangaka that I'll admit ... But, it'd be nice if it happened some day, huh? At least, my own stand at Otakon or something, right? :3
Anyways, I'm seventeen, still in high school. I refuse to take Art classes since I was a kid and was horribly attacked by many smaller children for how badly I suck at drawing a coke can (I tried my best, dammit! DX). Also, half of my friends at school draw awesomely, twice as better as me, but happily don't have the drive to do anything with it except go to art school and hope it works out. :3
I'm writing Cruel Alice right now, a story I've been thinking about for a while about a boy who doesn't know that he would have had an older brother if his mother hadn't gone Christian Nazi and burnt him to death. So, when Jaimie, the younger brother, gets into high school, his dead brother's vengeful soul comes up from hell and drags him back down into his nightmare realm. Very Silent Hill. Have I mentioned I love horror? :3

Usually people who want to flame things, are going to do it no matter how good/bad the subject is. They just think it's fun because they know it will get you down. Hi guys! Awesome group of people here. My name is Rini and I am 21 (yep, another old one here) and am majoring in Education, with the eventual Deaf Education because I want to teach at a deaf school and be their role model (am also deaf).
I have loved manga ever since I was fourteen, so that's like, eight years. -shakes head- I got into anime when I was twelve/thirteen.
I live in Florida and am about to go to Michigan to visit friends for a month on Tuesday so I don't know how often I'll check Gaia then.
As for my story, well, it's in very early stages, but... well, think Matrix without the real people. o_O I really like the world, it's nothing like Earth.

Well hola everyone, my name's Ana. But my friends some times call me either Ducky or Penguin-chan. I guess I'm what you could call not your typical Orange County Girl, yep SoCal love but hate the weather and it's mood swings lately. I'm currently a freshmen....freshmeat I'm sorry. I love to draw when ever and where ever I am and occasionally sculp when ever I get my hands on clay. Last year in middle school I was managed to scramble stuff togeather up until the very last day. I was always the second one there and one of the last people to leave. Currently I've found home on my schools swim team and golf team. I love everyone on the teams dearly and strangly enough can't imagin life any other way now even after the bumpy start.
My current project I'm in the process of writing is a humanoid mythical creatures office/ school drama/comety/adventure/romance that tell the story of two vampires that are in deniel basically that they are in love. The lead male character is a typical rich playboy vampire who has charmed every assistant into quiting after they do something absoulutly stupid and the lead female character is an orphanded vampire who thought she was compleatly human until her godmother finally found a loop hole and was able to get her placed with a close friend and then sends her to a magical academy which is filled with every kind of creature one would think of. She becomes the personal assistant to the lead male character who is a bit well....reckless and they eventually get off the ground and start getting the school magazine back up into shape as one of the best magazines around.
I'm deffently going to be working on it over vacation.

Well, hi. My real name is Courtney, this was a mule account until I got hacked. You may call me Mew, because that's what I'm use to being called. I've been drawing for about 4 years, ever since my dad introduced me to manga. So right now I'm 14, I have 4 brothers, and 1 sister. I have been working on a collab with a friends for quite some time. And I've finally got the guts to make a manga into it. It originated as a Kingdom Hearts fanfic. It's called Colors of the Heart. I'll tell more about that later.
