Have any of you noticed that newer items are starting off selling for more gold then they use to. I remember when you could get a brand new donation item for no more then 20k. now there starting out at almost 40K!!! almost a 100% increase in less than a year.
Ive also noticed that almost every thing on the main market page Not under the title Auctions Ending Now are at at least 1k+.
Then you got classic favorits items such as Ancient Katana and Guitar of Demona, selling for 433,062g and 304,275g respectively while new items are walking in and costing almost as much if not more (ex. Demonic Mood Bubble
416,712g)
I'm also tired of walking in and seeing bull s**t like Warm Starter Khaki Shorts and Warm Punk Starter Top on the front page selling for 50/40k.
also while searching the market you tend to find items and go WTF when did gaia make this?? why don't they mention new non store items any more... with all these new items and never knowing about them i never know what i'm gonna find new and that tends to annoy me.
Also stupid things in the market like Mythrill Coin (60,000 Gold) selling for 70,896g.
Gaia you marketplace sucks and you economy is going to hell.

A big part of it is that there's so many users on gaia now. Too many of them were willing to pay extra for it, so it went all to hell. Blame the n00bs who somehow get gold.
Another small bit is supply and demand. Sure, for all the store items, the supply is infinate, but I've seen quite a few things in the marketplace being sold for MORE than the store price, and people still buying them. They (cash-hoars) need their things now and want them what they believe to be cheap. Blame the Joneses.
Another thing is that Gaia now gives out a lot more gold than they used to. I remember saving up for a week to get a 500 gold thing. Blame Gaia for wanting to make the avi system more accessable to the internetADD guys.
Hell, I remember when I got my Demonic Pendant. I got it for 7k off the marketplace, and back then that was a lot. Blame the metric system.
