FIRE EMBLEM: TRIALS OF THE DAWNCREW/VCs/CAPTAIN ONLY! Once, a Goddess swore to a human that the gods would strive to be models for Beorc and Laguz to follow. While the Goddess acted on her words, even gods must pass. Now there are four gods, said to be children of the first. The God of Peace was put in an enchanted sleep by his brother centuries ago, and the effects begin to show. The God of War is slowly moving the ways of the people of Tellius, and they fall to anger and war. The Goddess of Wisdom sees this but can do nothing, and the Goddess of Hope is being targeted by War. From her hiding place, she has sent out a call to the people of Tellius, but it has only reached a few. Realizing this, she changed the message. Meet in the plains of Begnion… Find each other and fight for Peace, Wisdom and Hope… Fight War, angels of Tellius…

Alayna came out of the woods, stick in hand. It was probably the best stick she'd ever found, perfectly straight and a few inches taller than her and about as thick as wrist. Looking around, she attempted to guess where she was. There was a river right in front of her so she guessed she was in Begnion. Her problem was with where the heck the plains were. There were mountains... No. Rivers, also no. A little bit of forest, which was also a no. So where... "Duh! There's a VALLEY inside the mountains! That might not be the ONLY spot it could be, but it's gotta be the best... And from where I am now I don't have to cross mountains! YES!" For a brief celebration she stuck her stick in the ground a little in front of her, so that it made a nice little 45 degree angle and launched herself into the air with it. After landing a few feet away, she started sluth along the river, hoping to find a bridge or boat while she was still in sight of the large pass between mountains.

Neyo was asleep and having what he would soon call his favorite dream ever. In it he was completely decked out in heavy blue armor, and he was completely surrounded Daein archers. "Hahahaha! Come, little archers, let your arrows ping off of my shiny armor!" But before they could act, he opened his eyes, both wide awake and irritated that his dream ended so abruptly. Looking around, he realized that being in a small, worn down town wasn't the best idea when he needed to get to the plains. So off he walked, until the residents discovered the hefty amount of gold that was stored in their purses and change bags to be missing. When that happened, he took off running.

Tharaman sped through the forest, his four legs jumping over all the fallen logs and zig-zagged him through the trees. As he neared the end of the treeline, Thar slowed to a stop. Shifting back to beorc form, he walked out onto the grassy plain, and climbed to the top of the small hill. Looking across the valley, he spotted the Begnion nobles' estates with their white, marbled facade. Starting down the hill, Tharaman watched for other people and a place where he could hide from them. Getting so close to a place like Begnion gave the wolf laguz something to be paranoid about.

Neyo collapsed about ten meters from the treeline, sweating profusely and panting hard. He had been chased for about a mile, but he continued running, hoping to make the plain by nightfall. The good news is that he did, but the bad was that he was exhausted and couldn't fully breath. While he was gasping for air, he spotted someone who, he guessed, also heard the words. I'm not crazy then... He closed his eyes to blink, but instead fell asleep.

So while most people would be worried about getting over the water (if all else failed she would swim and hope for the best) or soldiers (annoying little bullies with too much power for their britches) or even the simple fact that night would come eventually and all the needs of the body like food, water (Hello-- RIVER), shelter and other stuff, Alayna was not. She was pretty much completely lost to the world, working on decifering the code her younger brother had given her to keep her busy while at their aunt's. She was still applauding herself for that excuse-- Aunt Kiki was so eccentric that if she got any letters asking about Alayna, she'd probably start believing Alayna WAS there and send a huge letter back about how they went shopping and bought a new chair for the table. And after that Aunt Kiki would go on believing Alayna was there, even if Alayna's mother showed up she'd just say the girl was off with a new friend she'd made or something, until someone told her different. Alayna loved her family sometimes.

"Zorah we're here, am I like maybe a nutter?" Ryn was dismounting and fell out actually. "Ow... Help me out here?" Her foot was caught and she was lying on her back. Her pegasus snorted then lay down, setting her free. "Thank you!" She said getting up and taking a mint out of the bag munched on it. "So is anyone else here?" She leaned on Zorah thinking a bit.

Tharaman's ear turned, hearing the huffing of another person. His head tilted to the side at the beorc now asleep at the edge of the trees. Shifting to wolf form just in case he had a need to run... and fast, Thar slowly approached, figuring that based on his age, had also heard the feminine voice in his head. Thar nudged the man with his paw, realizing that he was knocked out cold. Transforming back, Tharaman lifted the man over his shoulder, heading towards the shelter of a willow tree, it's branches forming a veil around its enormous trunk.

Alayna crouched by the river, studying it. "Way too wide to swim, 'scpecially with the current. I can't jump it either. Maybe I could find a log or something and hold onto it, jump in and hope for the best! Or just find an easier way to kill myself..." She stood back up and went back to walking, deciding to find the shallowest spot on the river and do it anyway.

Neyo was still slightly groggy when he came to, unaware of where he was. He was leaning against the trunk of a willow tree by, from what he could see, a man with red hair. There was something odd about him, but he just couldn't place his finger on it. "Hey, did you hear the words too?" He asked out of the blue, climbing to his feet. "Cause if you didn't, then i'm a lot crazier than i thought."

Tharaman chuckled slightly, pushing some hair out of his face, taking the distraction as a time to hide his tail among the large roots of the tree. "Yes, I heard it," Thar admitted. "I'm a little hesitant to follow it's instructions though," he added, choosing his words wisely.

"Why? Think about all of the neat things that others might bring!" Neyo was getting excited. Not the best thing for him. "And- and the- the armor! And the money!" Now he was practically jumping up and down. "And then when everyone else gets here, we might go into that city and- and do stuff!" Then he noticed the Pegasus rider. "There's one now! C'mon! Lets go meet her!"

Tharaman slunk back against the tree further. "I think I'll stay here for now," he said. From the stories he had heard as a pup, most of the pegasus riders in Tellius originated in Begnion, and for a laguz of any kind to near a resident of the large city was literal suicide.

"Fine, I'll be right back then." He started walking towards the large winged horse. "My name is Neyo, by the way!" He shouted back, breaking into a slow sprint. "Heeellooooo! Miss Pegasus Rider!" He shouted, waving an arm.
