A US metalcore act formed in 2005. Main claim to fame is their female vocalist, Maria Brink.
...I'm willing to give them some credit. The guitar work is considerably less lazy than the metalcore standard, and Maria's vox are far preferable to the whinyness of most male singers in the genre. Yeah, I do know that the band is kind of a trendwhoring attempt by Century Media--appealing to girls with a female lead and lyrics that smack of Evanescence, and appealing to (idiotic) guys because Maria is easy on the eyes. Like I said though, they're a cut above the metalcore dreck.Circles

Hmm I am always looking for a good Metalcore band. You are correct Ash...most bands in this genre are usually bland...and/or copy cats.

Not really sure I'd categorize them as metal... More goth rock I'd say, especially their newer stuff.
I don't think they're terrible, but it's just not my thing.

I believe they're good. Especially the vocals, she has good talent and she's hot. What can I say?
