I know that I should go by The System and the "standards of care" bullshit rigarmarall they make us all go through, but I simply don't have the time or the energy or money for any of it. I can't just go to a gender specialist because they cost a gazillion dollars. I have no insurance. I need this NOW. I hate the fact that we have to go through such a flawed and treacherous system just to keep ourselves happy and sane. I've heard of people going through years of therapy before hormones or surgery, just because their therapist said they "weren't ready." I think the so-called SOC kills more transgendered people from suicide than it actually helps. In fact, you often have to prove that you're not depressed or psychologically troubled before they'll even consider you (which is especially unfair as it is often the lack of hormones or surgery that causes FTMs to be depressed!) I understand they have to make sure you're not "crazy", but then again a lot of doctors would call us crazy for being FTMs in the first place. *vents*

I know I shouldn't (yet I don't know why) but as soon as I get money I'm going to buy some. Do some serious research and see how much I should take. Most likely speak to an endocrinologist and start myself on T.

xD Oh you're welcome! I found some other places, it's kind of difficult to sort them out and weed out the ones that are either OMG expensive or WTF totally fake and dangerous. xB

This place here seems okay, from what I've read .. I mean it's impossible to know for sure, but other reviews have said they had quality stuff. @.@; I'd hate to be wrong about it. But I think this is where I'm going to get my hormones. I really want to go on Depo-testosterone if I can and this has enough of it so that I don't have to order it again in two weeks. xB

( You know, I did some searching around for gender therapists, and the prices were crazy. Not only that but I'd have to drive to Dallas. Given that I have a job and no car, this is impossible. So I'm really glad I've found these places, because otherwise I'd be completely hopeless right now. )
