Well, what is the basic plot of the story? Where is it going to go? Do you know how it will end?
Best advice I can give you with the information you've provided is what my drama teacher told me about auditions. Make them remember you. Do something origional or off-beat as an introduction that grabs the readers attention.

Fanfiction is a story writen by fans, using the characters and putting them in a diffrent situation. Basically, it people writing what they want to happen, or think would never happen. It's a lot of fun, check it out.
