This is the Journal of the Goddess Nymphlora Lily of the Valley that belongs to + Within + feel free to post if you like, though be prepared for gaps in posting since I'm horribly busy.

Lily of the Valley is the goddess of song, her skin and hair always changeing to the mood and soal of her music. The clip in her hair is a crystal, that when at her will, will fill the song with sounds that closely resembel the flute, though her lilting, magical voice need not help to enchant the spirit and set the heart free.
Introduction:
Such a wonderful gift to receive from an equally wonderful friend. Twisted Fairytale gave this seed to me at a time in my life where I was riddled in grief. Lillies of the Vale grew outside of my Grandmothers home, in the shade beneath the trees. I was young and memory has a funny way of imprinting certain sounds and scents upon a person. The sound of my grandmother's voice in song:
White coral bells Upon a slender stalk Lillies of the Valley Deck my Garden walk
Oh don't you wish That you could hear them ring Yet that only happens When the fairies sing.
I can still smell the sweet scent and see the shadows and shafts of sunlight flickering over the coral bells of those lovely blooms. The warmth of my grandmother's embrace as she'd rock me and sing.
A little over two years ago my Grandmother died, due to complication with a shunt that was improperly surgically put into her upper arm. A staff infection caused her to have multiple strokes and I could not be there for her when she died, but some how I knew that she had.
I can still hear her singing, the sweet slightly off key tone of her voice, the scent of the Lillies and the wonderful times that I had with her. I have a deep connection with my Grandmother, she was so like a mother to me. She taught me how to love and be loved, she taught me how to treat people and how a person should be treated.
This may be a bit difficult for me to roleplay due to this fact, the Lily of the Valley has special meaning to me and I will never forget what my grandmother taught me and I will have the hopes of one day hearing those fairys sing.
I love you Grandma,
Your little chicadee

This is a sprite that was made of me around the time that I had gotten my seed from Twisted Fairytale. I decided to merge it with the little song that my grandmother used to sing with me. biggrin This lovely butterfly tends to light upon Lilly's basket any chance that it can get. I think that it knows there is something very special about her, or it likes the reed that the basket is woven from xp

There are times when you get a pet when you don't want it to grow... when you want to keep it the way that it is forever. This is how I felt about Lilly in the beginning but now, I do want her to grow because I feel that a part of me is avoiding the grief that I feel over the loss of my grandmother. I cried when this beautiful seed was given to me... I'm not crying anymore but I'm filled with a sense of joy that I have something so lovely to remind me of the good times that I had shared with someone that meant so much to me.
Yes, it's a bit odd to be talking about someone in real life as you're reading this, but I do roleplay as an aspect of myself... My name is Kerry though here within the realms of Gaia I am Within, human on earth, half dragon mage on Gaia.
I take care of my Lilly, I water her, I keep her soil airated and I feed her the vitamin supliments that are needed to keep her healthy and strong. I do not keep her in direct sunlight... Lillies of the Vale flourish in the shaded areas where only kisses from the sun brushes over their bell like blooms throughout the day.
My cottage, strangely enough is located in a place that I have had called The Vale long before I received this beautiful seed. There are many other's here with me, other creatures and humanoids that I've taken under my wing. But Lilly is the one that I will be paying special mind to in the Vale.
Welcome to my home, and welcome to the home of Lilly of the Valley.

::There are no words in any language to express the emotion that swelled through me as my little Lily emerged from her seed. Her trilling soft voice brought tears to my eyes as she'd ask...
"Where am I?..."
"Home, dearling... my name is Within, I am your guardian..."
...Her head tilted to the side, her voice like musical notes dripping from the coral bells of her namesake...
"Lily.... Lily is my name... I know you..."
there was a smile in her voice as she'd stand upon the larger woman's hand and then, lift her voice in song....
"White coral bells... ...upon a slender stalk Lillies of the Valley deck my gar'den walk...."
::I thought I would cry, no... I was crying... sinking down to my knees, the tiny goddess head near... I cried... tears of sorrow, tears of joy... tears of all that could be imagined as Lily gave a small flutish sound of concern as I'd lost myself in a mixture of grief and joy.::

(This is the song Lily sung at the Valentine's ball, held for Nymphs only ^^ )
::She seemed so sweet and shy as she'd dip into a formal curtsy in front of Catnip... her feet barely seemed to touch the ground as she'd drift up on to the stage, turning about so her hair would flow around her languidly, her body poised before she'd begin the first verse of the song... Some where, from her if one would listen intently and it was difficult not to listen to the Goddess of Song intently when she chose to sing... the sound of a soft flute playing would be the gentle prelude to the wonder that was her voice as it lilted over the words....
"Alas my love... you do me wrong... To cast me off... discourteously;"
The sorrow in her voice was more then just her own, but it was the sort of emotion that could touch the soul of all of those that could hear her....
"...And I have loved you... oh so long Delighting in.... your company"
She would dip and sway around the stage, her hair and body turning to a bright white as she'd become entranced within the music, the song swelling from her and seeming to gain a life of it's own... had she eyes they would be wet with tears right now... . "Greensleeves... was my delight, Greensleeves... my heart of gold Greensleeves... was my heart of joy And who... but my Lady Greensleeves."
Now, her body swayed, making her hair weave about her like the branches of a willow in a soft breeze, her voice grew in strength while the sound of the flute diminished, it was unneeded, her voice carried well enough all it's own, enrapturing all that would hear the sweet tenderness of her plea...
"I have been ready... at your hand To grant whatever... thou would'st crave; I have waged both... life and land Your love and goodwill... for to have."
One could almost imagine the man's desperation to keep this woman that had grown bored with him at his side, though the melody and the silky flow of Lily's voice a tale of old was revealed and spun once more... her movements slow and languid like the song itself, the grace of a swan and the lightness of a butterfly in her step....
"Greensleeves... was my delight, Greensleeves... was my heart of gold Greensleeves... was my heart of joy And who... but my Lady Greensleeves."
And now, sad submittion to the other's will filled her voice... a loss of hope of love... and yet, there was still something there, the joy, the splendid rapture of having loved someone so much that one was willing to allow them to follow their own heart's desire... No matter the cost to the singer of this tune....
"Thy petticoat... of sendle white With gold embroidered... gorgeously; Thy petticoat.... of silk and white And these I bought thee.... gladly."
Finally now, it was the farewell, wishing all the love and joy that a splendid life could bring as a final spin would bring Lily down to her knees and then bending like a reed to the side with her hands pressed to the stage, the last chorus whispered from her like a beloved memory...
"Greensleeves... was my delight, Greensleeves.... my heart of gold Greensleeves... was my heart of joy And who.... but my Lady Greensleeves...."
The flute hung with the last note of her song, staying with her voice that would seem to drift off like so many memories through the crowd... perhaps it would not be known that she had gone silent until it was that she was on her feet and then down the steps of the stage... her head bowing to Catnip before she'd turn to see if any one else was going to join in the festivities...::

I have a mask now, a wonderful gift from the glorious party that I had attended. It was just beyond anything I had expected! There were so many other's there and I loved the way they sang. What fun they had and what songs I heard! There was a silly little song and dance that I adored, and then there was this wonderful display from a demi god that thoroughly impressed me. Oh and then there was Cat tail who was so deliciously naughty that I couldn't help but blush. Yet she did so well! I have to say that everyone that sang made my heart swell with joy. I loved every moment of it even if I did sit in the background and watch for most of it. Of course I participated, I had to... well, I really wanted too. All the singing it just moved me and I had to join in. People seem a bit unsettled by me. I don't know why, I'm just like them after all. Just because I am a goddess does not mean that I am any better then they are. I had so much fun, I am full of smiles inside still after all this time. I cannot wait until there is another party, I would like to have a chance to spend time with my fellow Nymphs alone, it was nice to get away from my guardian for a little bit. I love her, yes oh yes I do... but I know I make her sad for some reason. She cries sometimes and I don't know what to do, to make her feel better. Ah me, my poor guardian. I feel as if it is something about me that brings her pain. Perhaps she feels guilty for something? I am not sure but I do not think I will pry into her business. She loves me I know, she treats me like a precious jewel and yet, there is alway that sadness in her eyes. If only there was something that I could do, to take that pain away.
