Poke'mon Breeder Market

Breeders live to breed poke'mon and profit from the sales of the results of breeding. It's common practice for a breeder to seek out rare and strange poke'mon because it's possibe that the genes from the parents produce traits in the offspring that make them valuable. The shiny gene to be one of them. Shining poke'mon are horribly rare and are valued at nearly four times that of a normal poke'mon. Breeders will often enter poke'mon shows to show off their stock, make breeding arrangements with other breeders, and compete for the elete class. It seems that the more sucessful pokemon in the shows produce sucessful offspring and have a higher chance of producing shining poke'mon.
Here at the Breeder Market, Poke'mon breeders sell off the poke'mon they have bred and entered into shows. Here is where breeders can make a name for themselves, the higher-class their poke'mon are the more they are able to charge. Struggling breeders are forced to have basic prices so they get any buisness at all. For trainers and future breeders it's a wonderful place to browse for new poke'mon- it saves the effort of capturing their own, while for breeders its a way to earn money.
| Setting Up A Booth |
- All breeders must put in for a booth permit. First they must turn in a booth application to Pokemon_Researcher_Bill:
Breeder Name: ( Your character's name )
Breeding Facility Name: ( The name of the facility you'll be going by )
Specialty: ( What kind of poke'mon do you specialize in breeding? )
General Pricing: (What is the price range we're looking at? )
- After the application is accepted you must pay a fee of 1000g. This is the only set-up fee you'll need. Once you've paid you can run your buisness as long as you'd like. (Unless, of course, you break the rules.)
- For every sale you make you must pay the staff 50% of your earnings. This covers the cert we'll have to make, the evolutions for the poke'mon, etc.
- Breeders can set their own prices but must be reasonable. For instance no one would play 10,000g for a normal caterpie.
- Please set rules in your booth for everyone to go by.
| Make The Appeal |
- The more organized your booth is, the better it is for your potential buyers. If they don't know where to find anything you'll loose sales.
- An attractive booth is an appealing booth. It shows that you put effort into what you do, and just might win over some buyers.
- Listing out the parents of each poke'mon, the genetic line, the awards won in each generation, etc. will help other breeders determine if the offspring is a good canidate for them.
- Having a section for breeders to make breeding appointments with your poke'mon are allowed. It's common practice and just might produce some interesting results.
