|-Intro-|
Jinto has long been isolated from regions such as Kanto and Jhoto because of it's northern-most location. Jinto is made up of a series of small continents (or large islands). The weather is typically a good deal colder than in the other regions but many of the locals are far used to it. The range of Poke'mon is much greater than in that of Kanto and Jhoto. Recently Jinto has received much more attention from the other regions because it was here that the Poke'mon hybrids were discovered.

[+] Plateau Town : Jinto's equivalent to Pallet or Littleroot. Here is where most young trainers begin. It's a small community centered mainly around farming. There are a few small businesses but nothing to really put them on the map.
[+] Illen Forest : A large, thick wooded area where Poke'mon are pretty abundant. It's a popular area for research.
[+] Keebin Town : A larger farming community. Merchants between Keebin and Plateau are quite common. It's not uncommon for trainers to begin here either.
[+] North Bay : The largest town in the north region. Most businesses are founded around the bay town. Here is where the opening ranks of poke'mon shows is normally held. This is also the home of the first gym that trainers must defeat in order to collect the 4 badges required to enter the tournaments held on Battle Island.
[+] South Port : A small fishing community, south port is a location for trainers to hop a ship to the next region.
