Syt stretched as she fode on the back of Aisling, one of the two flaming horses she travled with. their coats sheaned black, the one she was riding hand blue flames erupting along his back, shaping into a wing like shape. The one to his side was adorned with red dragon like armor. Sitting along her back was two small treeckos, holding on for balance. their different shades of green scales reflected in the morning light. Ahead of the group padded along two growliths. one's blue spotted fur stood out quite easily, while the slightly larger one's brown and black fur tended to blend in with the dirt path they traveled on.

Jayne sighed as she walked down her street for maybe the last time in a while. Although the normal starting age for Pokemon trainers was about 12, Jayne could never work up the courage to start that early, but now that she was almost 15 she felt kind of silly that she hadn't started her journey yet. Besides, all of her friends left years ago, leaving her lonley and friendless. I really hope I come across a Pokemon soon... she thought to herself. She hadn't ever had the chance to even get a Pokemon yet, but she just started out with as much optimism as she could. Seeing that girl and her beautiful Pokemon ride past hadn't helped her self-esteem either. Well, she thought, I can't catch a Pokemon if I never start.... So, she started forth with a determination and a small sense of fear at her future Pokemon career...

I don't even have any Pokeballs yet, other than these dumb Ghost Balls Mom got from one of her ex-boyfriends Jayne thought as she wondered what to do next. She sat down on a nearby park bench, took out her map, and considered her options. "Well, since the new shop in town isn't open yet, there isn't much I can do in the way of obtaining items," she murmered to herself. "But I have been hearing some rumors about Illem Forest, but what happens if I find a Pokemon there and I don't have any Pokeballs? I DO have those Ghost Balls, but I don't know when I will find them useful..." She pondered those thoughts aloud, and finally reached a desision. "I think the best course of action would be..." at this point, she stood up and put her stuff in her pack, "To wait a few more days to see whether or not something happens, and then travel to North Bay!" She got a triumphant look on her face and abruptly turned around and ran back home.

Jayne read through the piece of mail yet again, as she pondered what to do. "Well, it does give me a reason to finally leave Plateu Town, and I might see some cool Pokemon in Illem. Plus, I'll be meeting Bill's assistant! Maybe he could be an important connection..." she looked up from the letter and grabbed her backpack. "Ok, it looks like I'm going to Illem!" She ran out of the house, yelling a hurried good-bye (again) to her mom as she flew out of the door. She grinned widely, happy she finally knew what she wanted to do. She quickly jumped in the air, clicked her heels, and yelled "I'm going to Illem!!" "Well good for you! Shut up!" yelled some random person on the sidewalk. Jayne blushed deeply, embarrassed, and walked towards the outskirts of town on her first step towards starting her Pokemon journey (for the second time rolleyes )

Walking slowly, arms behind her head and looking up at the sky, Jamie smiled and sighed happily. A new region. A whole new start. The small Spearow sat on her shoulder, snoring softly and looking completely content. It had been nearly a month ago when she had found the train ticket to Jinto, but she still had taken that long to actually /get/ there and prepare for a new region of new poke'mon and, most importantly, new trainers.
She squinted as the sun passed out form behind a cloud. Moving her hands over her eyes, she continued on. Plateau Town reminded her oddly of Pallet, small and cozy, so she easily found the way to the Jinto equivalent of Route 1. What was it called? Oh well. It was shorter than Kanto's, a lot shorter, so it might not have even have a name. Why, she could even see the forest from the outskirts of town. Wait...forest? Maybe Jinto and Kanto weren't so alike. Shouldn't there have been a city between Plateau and Illia? Mind wandering, Jamie continued in the general direction of the forest, looking around curiously (There might've been poke'mon!) and feeling quite nostalgic. Had her friends found tickets, too? Had they made their way to Jinto? She'd been so eager to get to the region, Jamie hadn't even decided on what movie to see with Heather. She'd gone out for a walk, found the ticket, and set off that minute. After all, everthing she owned was slung over her shoulder. What if they had for gotten her? What if she never saw them again? She'd find them. The world wasn't /that/ big. She was just a rookie trainer, after all. Just a rookie. She considered herself to have gone through so much, but in all honesty, she was just a weak, beginning trainer.
Jamie laughed loudly at theought. Londly enough, even, to shake Sakki awake, causing the poke'mon to give her a very grumy look, which only made Jamie laugh harder. How sappy could she get? It was almost like she was being written in a book while the author was watching Soap Operas!

"Ahhh. We're finally here. Rewarding, isn't it? Plateau town is a great place, from what I've heard!" "Vulll!!"Hallie yawned, grinning in that vulpix way. T picked up the blue and white vulpix, holding her to her chest, smiling. "This is the beginning of a great adventure, Hallie! Can't you just smell the excitment!?" She looked at her vulpix who stared at her. "Errr... Well... You know what I mean, right?" The vulpix nodded and hopped out of her arms, running into town, more eager than even her trainer. "Hallie!" cried T, chasing after her, being a quick running for someone wearing stiletto heals. The two of them tore through town, Heather nearly tripping on the length of her own hair. Hallie turned corners with ease, darting this way and that, until she zipped past Jamie, causing T to run right into her. "Oh my god! I'm so sorry!!" T said, panicking, getting up and offering a hand to Jamie. "Are you alright?"
