Otay so i wanna see what people have to say to this because me and sum friends talked about this already, what makes your self lable ur self "Scene" or "emo". I dont call myself any of it because i like being myself and not part of a trend. People have been telling me that scene is to be 'emo, to have dyed hair rainbow colors, to have to listen to screamo music and always have ur hair and make up done, to wear brass knuckles and skinny jeans.' Meh. yesh i <3 screamo/metal and yesh i like meh skinny jeans and brass knucles buuuuutttttt im not scene.
since at school im labed 'scene' [and how i find hard to understand >_>;] since i am diff from a scene kid. i dont look like how everyone trys to look like and you alllll know what i mean. i dont have my hair layed 4 diff areas and i dont dye my hair, i make a 'scene' because i make my own fashion. i dont stick out of the crowd because i look like sum rainbow emo. i stick out cuz i make the scene not join it. So anyways tell meh ur feelings on the word uses of Scene or emo. by post whatever ur mind and soul feels cuz i know i might get hate mail from some people.^_~<3

I don't really label myself, however I have been labeled scene by many of my friends, and it is not taken as an insult my any means, I actually prefer it to emo. ^^ Scene basically means that you do abstract styles/colors with your hair or the typical black and bleach streak aspect, me being one of those people. The way you dress is how people judge you and how people are gonna think of you in the long run. I wear skinny jeans, eyeliner, wear bright bandanas and colorful wristbands, cuz I could care less what others think =] I'm scene and proud of it, and my personal life background won't say differently.

Scene, people that support their local band and dress in a way that would demonstrate that support and bla bla bla blaaaa
Honestly scene is just another label to me, I don't really care if people follow it or not we all go through that phase at some point in life. I used to follow that trend when I was younger and then I just kinda grew out of it. Well sort of... sweatdrop

The word "scene" means nothing to me. It's just a word/label. I am highly against labels!!! Labels are for SOUP CANS!!!

I have been called "emo" "scene" "goth" "punk" and all that bullsh*t, and frankly... I don't mind, but they don't call me "Becky". I am nothing but a human being living in this pathetic excuse for a world.

I wear skinny jeans, bright AND dark clothes/accessories. I LOVE Hello Kitty, Gloomy Bear, and Skelanimals. I listen to rock/metal/some techno/some scremo... so that makes me an "emo/scene"? NO!!! It just makes me... ME!!!

Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that the word "scene" means nothing to me... and it's just a word that needs to be stopped being used to call a person.

...to shake me from this confusion.

First off, Scene isn't a trend or a label- It's a Lifestyle. It's about being your self and telling every one who has a problem with it to fxck off. It about music and having a good time. && it's about color. Lots of color. Color makes the world go round ^^.
