Plot: In the dark alleys of 30th century America, the cities on the mainland have all been left to the poor and middle class folk. Everyone who has money or power has moved to massive floating cities on the ocean, connected by maglev tunnels that run underwater. However, the mainland is nearly forgotten. Cities are fallinginto disrepair and the countryside is becoming what it was before the pilgrims came. The deserts have been turned into radioactive waste dumps. With the growing changes on the mainland, changes also begin happening to the next generation. Much to the dismay of their parents, the teenagers have either developed a special ability or a power of some sort that makes them stand out. The governmental authority of the world has evacuated everyone who is "normal" to the cities, leaving the massive landmass of North America to the "untouchables" as they are being called. However, the evacuation was also done for another reason. Creatures, only seen in mythology, have been appearing on the mainland and elsewhere in the world, creating an even greater fear of returning to "the wilds" as many people have begun to call it.
setting: A small town in the western block, US. Some normals left, not many. Those that are left are extremely paranoid and biased against the untouchables.

this is partly a war roleplay, but that will come in later.
my character:
name: Ryvn Kesler
age: 18
gender:male
personality: Ryvn is usually very silent and shy around others, but when he gets used to being around someone, he will open up a bit. However, he's afraid to be hurt by others. He was abandoned by his family and therefor is very skeptical of others who want to help him, but deep inside he longs for a friend.
appearance: Ryvn is six feet even, with burnished silver hair that hangs down to the middle of his back, usually held together in a ponytail by leather straps. His eyes are a bright golden yellow. He is usually found wearing military fatigues and carrying a handgun for self defense, but that's it.
history: when he was twelve, Ryvn was abandoned by his parents, him being the first person to start developing into what everyone else feared. At first he thought he could find a new home, but when the town fled, he found himself alone with others like him. Instead of forming a cohesive community of them, he avoided them, living in one of the abandoned houses. As his mutations progressed, he gained more and more control over his powers and his hatred for his parents grew until he completely forgot about them, burying the knowledge deep in his mind so no one would find it.
mutations/powers: He shifts between a dragon form and a human form and can control earthen elements at will.
other: he is incredibly intelligent, but always keeps to himself, when he's not sequestered in his house, he is hard to talk to.
