Hello, Welcome, and Merry Meet!

New to the Guild?

Here is where you can and are encouraged to introduce yourself to your fellow Guild members.

Tell us anything and everything you'd like us to know about you!

Can't think of anything to share or want to keep it simple? Here are some suggested bits of information you might like to share:
Name (What you prefer to be called on Gaia), occupation, birthday, general location, zodiac sign, spiritual path and hobbies or interests.

Been here a while?

Some of us have been here for a while but with most recent clean-up and all the chaos associated with it, we decided to redo this thread. So even if you're and old member, re-introduce yourself! It's equally nice to get re-acquainted with old friends!

Hi there! I'm GoE, nice to meetcha smile
I'm an eclectic Pagan, and have been all of my life; I just didn't know what it was called until I was 16 I think. I'm now 22. My patron goddess is Artemis, although lately I have been feeling a pull towards another, unknown goddess. I think it's because I'm beginning to move out of the maidenhood portion of my life biggrin

Umm...let's see. I recently earned my bachelors in psychology, and I am now working in a non-profit organization that serves people with developmental disabilities. I will be getting married to the most wonderful man in May 2011 heart (If anyone has any ideas on how to have a ceremony that is both Christian and Pagan, let me know sweatdrop ). Oh and I live in Kansas...bleh!

I've been a part of this guild for a while, and I'm really excited that it's up and running again! rofl

Edit: Plus I love emoticons, obviously!

Hello there.
I am Layluna, and it is good to see a bit of life in this old guild.
I am a Celtic NeoPagan(try explaining that to the non-pagan parents).I don't have a patron god/goddess as of this date.

I'm still in high school, junior from what the principal said, and I have a less than mediocre job working for my grandpa.I have been in a relationship for the last three years and hopefully my a**-ness won't lead to that changing.

I've been a part of the guild for a little bit of time, and am really happy to see activity.

Oh,and I plan on fixing this effin' space bar problem soon.>.>

Layluna Shadow
Hello there.
I am Layluna, and it is good to see a bit of life in this old guild.
I am a Celtic NeoPagan(try explaining that to the non-pagan parents).

Lol, I never even bothered to attempt to explain it to my parents. Luckily, they never really asked and I kept to myself about religious beliefs anyway. The witchcraft was a little more tricky to keep under their radar but I got by. They wouldn't have disowned me or anything but for a lack of a better word my mothers is well, stupid. She's shallow as well often caring too much about what others will think but when it comes down to it just an idiot and is one of those people you just cannot talk to because their way is the only way that's right. I honestly just didn't want to have to take the time to explain everything just for her not to really listen anyway and assume I'm devil worshiping, sacrificing animals, or what not have you- take your pick of all the negative stereotypes lol.

My dad may have actually been okay with it as I found out a few years ago that he was and came from a line of Free Masons. Hell, he probably did more ceremonial rituals than I do lol. Granted our stance on deity more likely than not differs but who knows I might strike up the conversation with him someday.

If they ever flat out ask me I'd say enough to answer their questions and maybe settle a few fears but it's just one of those things- what they don't know wont hurt them and honestly it's really none of their business. Not to mention living 2 hours away from them when we do talk or visit that's not a topic they are really to concerned about.

Thanks for re-introducing yourself, like I said earlier it's really nice to see at least some of the older guild members were still hanging around and had faith we'd get things up and running again!
