Merry Meet! I'm Vice Captain, Matron of the Herd.
I'm 23 years old, a fairly new mother, and engaged to wonderful man, the father of our beautiful baby girl.
I've pretty much always worshiped nature and considered it to be that which is most holy to me. It was only 'natural' that my spirituality grew to be deeply centered in the earth and universal forces and energies around me. I see myself sort of as a tribal type woman spiritually. You know, bedding with the deer and running around near skin clad type thing. Ever since I was young I’ve felt that the Old Ways, or at least what I imagine them to be from texts and spiritual exploration, call to me and are instinctually at the core of my soul in all of my practices and my faith.
When I was about 13 I started worshiping specifically the Irish Deities and began my practice of witchcraft. Over the last ten years I’ve learned a lot about my craft, and a lot about myself. I’m a fairly intuitive person and so far my instincts have never led me astray. I suppose if I had to use a label one could say I’m eclectic in that I don’t confine myself to any set tradition of practices, however it does seem that most of the things I do complies with Celt and Irish traditions. For me, it’s all about feeling; tapping in. I have to do what feels right. This almost makes me slightly chaotic in my workings as far as the actual process of the working or ritual goes, but the outcome and desires is always very focused and contained. Most of the time I just take into Circle all of the possible things I would use for whatever type of working I’m doing, tap in, and go where it takes me, do what comes to me and seems fitting.
Over the years I have come to realize that I tend to be fairly sensitive to energies be it just feeling or reading them to working with and manipulating them. One of my specialties though, is creating visualizations and meditations for just about anything, especially holistic healing, as well as dream interpretation. I’m very good with symbolisms. I think there is wonders to what the mind can do and how it works. In my opinion, especially when using magic, the mind really is our most powerful tool.
I also dabble in herbal remedies, perform a bit of kitchen witchery from time to time, and although I usually reserve divination for a last resort, I am able to scry and have a set of Ogham sticks I can read.
My day mostly consists of changing diapers, keeping the house tidy, and preparing dinner for my man when he gets home from work. Gaia is my outlet and guilty pleasure. I try to get on as often as I can and when I have time. If you ever need anything feel free to pm me and I look forward to seeing you around!
Sincerely, Matron of the Herd

Hey there, ^_^ Yume is my name second name (aka not my legal name) it's come to me many a time through different people at different periods of my life before I realized and accepted the correlation and took it as a second name. I'm a 23 year old clairvoyant medium/seer/ diviner, and spiritual person, searching for my path in life through research, practice, experimentation, discussion, theological debates and analysis. I'm a bit of a math, science, psychological and philosophical geek! And love it! heart I've dabbled and studied different paths and continue to do so in this search. Born, christened and raised Christian though in a not so religious household, with strict religious Christians within my family none the less it's my religion by birth. I was in elementary school (1st grade I think) when I had an interest in attending a place called church and learning about God for some reason and then I dragged some friends with me after a while. xd I loved the difference in music verses my dad's rock n roll, it was an entire new world to me! And I LOVED hearing/learning what little I could about angels and the being called God. Marii can attest to how drawn into and even obsessed I became with church and what those within the church told me (I was a very naive child to say the least). But in 5th grade while attending a new school I started being called a witch because I could commune with those deceased and though at first I rejected such a notion, slowly I came around to wondering if it was true considering I did more then just that... And I found some books in my schools library on witchcraft and Wicca. From then on I continued with church but my mind was hungry for knowledge and I studied and practiced spells, science, paranormal, math, Christianity, Wicca and witchcraft. In high school I had to break away from Wicca and Christianity for a time, I knew they just weren't for me, my coven I'd formed separated as one continued with Wicca and the rest of us went searching for our path to follow. I became a strained from my immediate family just before my coven split as well when I came out in defense of a good friend (And this was the part of my family not very religious, the religious ones were more overlooking of it and just strayed for the time). I've come clean with them since about many things but the choice of beliefs was what separated us rather then my being a switch or bi. confused Over the years I found that my Patron Gods are Freyja, and Sekhmet, Horus. I've worked with them my entire life. I'm a Libra1, year of the tiger but my ruling month is the Rooster and the one corresponding to my western sign is the dog. I work very well with air but also exceptionally well with earth and water too… light silvery blue is my color. Gabriel is the Archangel I’ve always connected to the most though Raphael second, spring is definitely my season, and I’m always the most energetic and lively when awake at dawn. Lion’s, cats, snakes spiders, unicorns, pegasis and horses are my animals, Easter lilies, camellia’s, irises, weeping willow trees, and white bark trees are plants which I feel very connected to. For stones Sapphire is my absolute favorite, though I also feel strongly connected to Onyx and Opal as well. My areas of study/practice are currently Christianity, Angels, Asatru, ESP, Psychology; Behavioral Analysis, Naturopathy, Maya history and beliefs, bdsm, Woodworking/designing/construction, Making authentic renaissance outfits, Aikido, Organic/Green housekeeping, Astrology, Astronomy, Religious history/mythology/sects, etc. Currently researching books for a good book-referral list and personal collection during my lacking of enternet time these days so if you have suggested books for me to look at or are wondering about good books to look for within your area of interest please visit our booklist posting and feel free to post inquisitions and book referrals therethere. In my spare time (outside of gaia) I'm usually house-keeping, reading, playing magic; the gathering, story and poetry writing, doodling, biking, studying, crafting, singing and dancing, and spending time with friends. The best ways to reach me are here on gaia via pms or through e-mail/YIM; yume_no_tenchi@yahoo.com / yume_no_tenchi. If you need anything, by all means, don't be shy. smile That's all I can think of including for now but feel free to ask me any questions and/or I may add more later when I think of anything not provided. See all of you around in the forums and threads! 4laugh

Hello All ^_^ I am Celticfaith, I am one of the Vice Captains here in this wonderful guild. I am 21 years old, and gay, but that doesn't define me. I have been interested in the craft for as long as I can remember. Although I did not start actively studying the it untill about five or six years ago. I study a mixture of my ancestral faiths (Irish Celtic, Cherokee Indian) and then some Greek and Roman.
I have been through many trials in my life, and with the help and support of my friends I over came them. So please feel free to message me with any of your own issues, I will try, to the best of my abilities, to help you any way I can, and if any of my own trails could help you, then by all means use them ^_^.
I am a very empathetic person. My instincts are very strong and I listen to the whenever they 'say' anything. I have been finding that I am a little gifted in sight, I do not know if I am TRUELY gifted, or if I am just unusually intuitive sweatdrop I do not consider myself strong in any one aspect of the craft, yes I may be good when it comes to herbs, but as soon as I get really good, I turn my focus to divination, so that I can get a nice balance. I do this with all areas I study in the Craft.
My day mostly consists of waking up, eating a light breakfast, going off to classes, having a hardy lunch, some study time in the library (Cause it is so nice and cozy), working out with one of my best girlfriends, then some R&R back in my dorm (And that can be anything from reading a very good book, to going out to a party off campus ^_^)
I am a nonjudgmental person, so you can come to me with any question, concern, problem, or just come to say hi ( PLEASE I AM SOOO LONELY!!!! xd LOL) and I will not judge you.
I am a social butterfly, so I prefer to practice with a group of friends, but since we all have went our separate ways, I am now alone, and I am finding it more relaxing, though I do still miss the comradeship.
My major is Social Work, and as of right now, there is no minor. I want to open my own counseling center so I will be going for my MSW, and I am already on my path to achieve my goal. I go to Indiana State University
Again, if you have any issues, a question, problems, concerns, or just want to say hi, please do not hesitate to PM me. ^_^
Peace and Blessings Celticfaith

Blessings All.
My name is Aphren, and I just turned 20. I am a crew and I am very passionate about religion, specially Pagan religions but also all religion. I am a Leo- Fire sign, and was born in the year of the Horse. Currently I am attending college for Theater as well as Religious Studies. I love learning about all religions, and I want to try and make all religions live in harmony and without ignorance.
I am an ordained minister so I can legally perform marriages by the certification given to me by the state in which I live. I am also very close to receiving my first degree into Wiccan Clergy by the tradition in which I belong. Once my application is accepted I will be legalized Wiccan clergy. I believe that clergy is my life, I want to help people in their religious choices and I want to be an authority on religion so I can better help others understand their faiths as well as the religions of others.
I have been studying Wicca for roughly 8 years and I never stop learning. I do not perform a lot of magick but I do know a lot about it, as well as the theory and philosophy behind it. I do a bit of divination with tarot, the I ching on occasion, and oracle cards. I have my own personal altar which I have very decorated, and I do a lot of my daily prayers and such there. I recently discovered that my Patron Deity is none other than the Celtic Goddess Danu (Anu/Dana).
Outside of Gaia I spend a considerable amount of time with my Boyfriend Timothy and his family, as well as the huge load of college work I often have. I enjoy learning, studying, and although I am not a book-worm I am a bit of a nerd. I also enjoy crafting jewelry. I make jewelry with a Pagan theme, using semi-precious gemstones which are often used for metaphysical purposes. I create rings, earrings, necklaces and bracelets, as well as pendulums. This is a rather new hobby of mine but I have been fortunate enough to have people take a liking with my work and purchase things from me.
If you have any questions about magick, divination, religious theory or practice, or any basic information regarding other religions, I would be more than happy to answer your questions. Feel free to PM me with any concerns.
Blessings, heart Aphren
