In a world where there are two types of humans. Regular Humans and Humane. Years ago the Humane where created by the Human as an attempt to tap the fountain of youth, but of course they just created super human beings. So, after their escape, Humane mixed in with the human population and began to live life regularly.
Now, Humane look human but at certain times they develop temporary animal parts (ears, tail, and so on). However, the catch is if a humane are seen, they are caught and destroyed. The Government is trying to clean up their mess and doing a very inhumane, but legal job.
Everything starts 300 years after the creation of Humane. Things take place at Mangetsu High located in Japan. Ishigaki, Okinawa Prefecture to be exact. Mangetsu is a 200 year old school that has a very dark secret of its own. Students of the school have been disappearing for long points of time then reappearing...changed in some ways. It’s up to a small unlikely group of students to figure out this mystery...

Humanes  Gaianame: Beastmistress13 RPC Name: Layla Crowsley Gender: Female Age: 17 Race: Humane Short Bio: Layla was born and raised as a wealthy aristrocrate Humane. When she was younger she was shy and skitsh toward others, even to her friends. However as she grew older, being spoiled to no extent, she has become one of the most popular, and one of the most meanest girls in school. She does not let anyone outside of her friend group know how she really acts. No one knows anything about her home life, even her most trusted Humane friends. No other person has seen her family or the inside of her home. The only thing that anyone knows about is that something bad has happened when she comes to school with cuts and/or bruises. No one has had the guts to ask her about them. Personility: She is stuck up and mean towards anyone she does not know. However when with friends she is nice and cheerful. She is mysterious as well at times. Personility: She acts like a smartalic and is acts as if she has a pole stuck up her. She rarely ever smiles and she is most of the time alone in classes and at lunch or other group places. Personility: He's a nice kind guy once you get to know him, but sometimes he can be a bit blunt and peak what's on his mind, even if he probably shouln't say it in the first place. Short Bio: It is very hard for her to recall her past, but the little she can is anything but pleasant. Unlike some she can remember her family. Back when she was normal. No, she was not born the way she was. She was forced to become what she is. When she was little, around seven or eight years old, she was just outside in the front yard of her home. Playing. Back then her hair was brown and her eyes were blue. She was the only child her parents had. The only one they could have. Her mother was infertile, but they never gave up. So, they were bless with her. There was only one problem. Her uncle sold her to be experimented on. He was a crack addict at the time and needed the money to feed his addiction. She was shipped away to somewhere she didn't know and experimented on to see if they could create their own humane like creatures. They had taken samples from her and used it with many different animals only to find that one would work. The horse. So, they tried something different to see if it would work as well. They took the DNA of an albino horse and injected her with it. She was still very young and over time her body would adapt to it and grow accustomed. They kept her locked away as they waited for it all to take affect. It did, around the time that she was thirteen and when her body began to go through natural changes. Her skin grew pale. Her eyes turned red. The color of her hair faded and it even grew longer and thicker. She did not really attain any horse like qualities, but she was also a failed experiment. Once they found this out they threw her away when she turned fourteen. After that she wandered around. At the age of fifteen she came upon Mangetsu High. She learned that there were others, ones that were somewhat like her. She tried to attend. The first couple of times she got rejected, but a few times later they let her in. It was the that she learned where she was. Japan. She's been attending ever since, but she mostly chooses to keep to herself. Most think of her as a human since she was just a failed experiment and cannot be labeled as a humane, but in a way, she technically is one. It's just that no one accepts that. Yet.
Personality: Unlike most would expect, she is very calm and always serious. Her lips are constantly in either a tight line or a small frown. She is very professional and always says that she has no time for playing around or goofing off. She believes that anyone that cannot be taken seriously needs to grow up. Often at times she can come off as cruel, uncaring, and sinister even. To those that take the chance to get close to her she is kind, caring, protective, and would do anything for them. She is very graceful and no where near clumsy. Well, she is first thing in the morning at times. She is extremely strong, and can be very hardheaded. She is not one to anger for she will lash out harder than one would expect. Then again, she does look weak.

Additional: There are red lines running down her face that start under her eyes. The ones that experimented on her gave her those so that the memory will never leave her. Adrian had came to the school early and practiced his fighting in the gym with a punching bag."man i love kicking stuff" Adrian just kept kicking at the punching bag."man this is fun" Adrian accidentally broke it. "uh oh first day and i already broke something!!!!" Adrian ran out of the gym as fast as he could.

Layla streatched her arms above her head as she stroded through the hall without worry, not thing any other person was at the school at such an hour. The sounds of footsteps however quickly changed her mind and her gentle smile vanished from her lips. She turned around a corner and spotted a boy heading her way, running as fast as he could by how fast he was gaining ground. Stepping out from the corner she made sure she was right in the boy's way as he came to the corner. "What are you doing," she said sharply.

Adrian noticed the girl and tried to stop but his feet slid on the ground and ended up slammed against the wall and on the floor. "OWW THAT HURT!!" Adrian then looked at the girl. "nothing" Adrian then noticed a piece of the bunching bag stuck to his tail. "uhhh" Adrian got up and tried to run away and tripped and face planted into a wall. "DAM THESE SLIPPERY FLOORS!" The piece of the punching bag landed near the girl.Adrian looked nervous.

Layla chuckled at the boy's stupidness, though inside she really felt bad for him. Spotting his tail, she didn't even mind the small piecing of the punching bag near her feet. Racing over to his side she lifted him up by his arm and grabbed his tail. "You need to hid this unless you want to be exposed and killed," she snapped at him as her cat fangs appeared as she hissed in anger. He must be new if he was idiotic enough to leave his tail out for the world to see.

Adrian looked at the girl."huh i never noticed my tail out" Adrian put his tail in his pants to hide it and put up his hood to hide his ears."and please do not hiss at me" Adrian tried to walk away but slipped.Adrian got up. "now i know why people wear shoes" Adrian sighed and sat down against the wall took out a soda from his hoodie and started to drink it. "and no i dont want to get killed" Adrian kept sipping his soda.

Layla almost slapped him for being so degenerate, but she held the urge back as she made her long fangs deform back to normal human like teeth. "Do you not know how to summon and unsommon your ears and tail," she asked in an annoyed tone as she crossed her arms over her chest as she stared down at him. "Do not tell me what I should and snould not do. And yes shoes would be a smart idea if you don't wish to keep calling down like some moronic clutz," she said as her eyes moved down to his feet then back up to his face, watching him drink his soda.

Layla rolled her dark purple eyes at him before she sat down on the thankfully clean floor. "You don't seem me with a tail or ears do you," she asked as she pointed to the top of her black silken head of hair. "To be able to go around here with out being caught and killed you have to know how to do it," she told him as she leaned back, placing her hands behind her to keep her from falling.

Layla watched him for a moment before she leaned back up and turned around to grab the peice of punching bag that had feel near her feet earilier. "I normally come here to be alone for once," she said looking over her shoulder with a slightly glare gaze before she turned around and tossed the clothing peice at him. "Now what did you do," she asked flately indicating the punching bag piece of cloth. She was tring to decide if she wanted to turn the boy in for trashing school property or let it slide.
