I FINALLY got my hands on Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs, and was pleased to find that the game comes with missions that allow you to unlock a Manaphy Egg and a Deoxys that can be transferred to your Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, or SoulSilver game!

Also, from October 14, you can download a mission to get Heatran, and beginning November 15 you can download a mission to get Shaymin! Both can be traded to your pokemon games!

Of course, you need two Nintendo DS to complete the trade - one running your pokemon game, and one running Pokemon Ranger.

Also, in order to get Deoxys, you have to complete the multiplayer mission "Deoxys and the Odd Temple" which cannot be cleared alone...you'll HAVE to team up with another player over DS Wireless Communications. BUT you can get more than one Deoxys! You just can't trade it to a game that's already received one from a Pokemon Ranger cartridge!

Also note: ONLY THE MISSION LEADER GETS A POKEMON, so if you're teaming up with someone to get Deoxys, make sure you take turns being leader!

Heatran knows the moves Eruption, Magma Storm, Earth Power, and Ancient Power.

Deoxys - Finish the mission with at least five minutes remaining and you will get Attack Form Deoxys which knows Meteor Mash, a move it can't normally learn. Finish with less than five minutes and you'll likely get Normal Form Deoxys. If you finish within a target time, you get Defense Form Deoxys. And apparently it's also possible to get Speed Forme Deoxys, but the site doesn't detail how to get it (if you know, share!).
