Salaam wa aleikum Brothers & Sisters.
Let's have a look at the Four great Imams:
- Imam Abu Hanifah (ra);
- Imam Shafi (ra);
- Imam Malik bin Anas (ra);
- Imam Ahmed bin Hambal (ra).
Now all these Imams were big scholars who were blessed with a great knowledge.
However, they did not agree on everything, this has lead to a differ between muslims. Which is a problem.
How is it that when we pray.. some of us keep their hands under their navel, and others on their chest?
This while the Prophet Muhammed (saws ) said:
"Pray, as you see me pray"
Now this is just one example on which the scholars differ. There are some more but I think one would be enough.
Imam Hanifa's way to pray, is the hand below the navel.
Imam Malik's way to pray, is the hand on the chest.
Why did they differ?
The answer to this question is simpel, clear, and obvious.
- Imam Abu Hanifa 699-767
- Imam Malik 93- 179
- Imam Shafi'i 767-820
- Imam Hambal 164-241

First I want to tell you, that when someone tells you something about Islam, like how to do something, this information should be backed up with the Quran & the Sunnah.
Everything that you learn or know of Islam, should be backed up with the Quran & the Sunnah.
The Scholars have said, "If you see any of my teachings going against the Quran or the Messenger, throw my teachings then to the wall"
Now, I have shown you the life periods of the Imams, but why?
First of all Hadiths were available at that time, but not all hadiths were compiled at that time, they started compiling hadith for many years later.
So for example the Sahih hadith on praying did not reach all the Imams,
Imam Hanifa had a hadith which spoke about the navel, however Imam Malik had a hadith which spoke about the chest.
Now we know that the Sahih hadith is the one about the chest.
Do not think, Hanafi is wrong an Malik is right, they are all great Scholars.
But the hadith dit not reach them at that time.
What is the golden lesson?
Always follow a path, that is backed up with the Quran and Sunnah.

in my country muslim cannot touch dog ..they said it harem ... hmmm diff imam i guess ..

First I want to make a statement that when we want to look at the rules of Islam, we should look at the Quran and the Sunnah. Not at Imams.
Everything they know, is based on the Quran and the Sunnah.
Now refering to your post. You have a point, some people say dogs are Haram.
When we look at the word Haram, it means prohibited.According to Islam not all dogs are prohibited.
The Prophet (saws) said: "Whoever keeps a dog, one Qirat of the reward of his good deeds is deducted daily, unless the dog is used for guarding a farm or cattle." Abu Huraira (in another narration) said from the Prophet, "unless it is used for guarding sheep or farms, or for hunting." Narrated Abu Hazim from Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "A dog for guarding cattle or for hunting.""
According to this Hadith from Bukhari Vol. 3, #515, we see that there are three types of dogs which are allowed:
- the ones used for protection;
- the ones used for hunting;
- the ones used as guard for the sheeps.
Any other type of dog is prohibited, so this also includes pets!
Now.. dogs are unclean animals, so therefor we are not allowed to touch them,
The Prophet (saws) said: “If a dog licks the vessel of any one of you, let him wash it seven times, one of which should be with earth.”
