Main Basic Storyplot

Many rumors are being spread among the members of the Metal Sisterhood in the scrappyard, and some watchers of the sky seem unsettled, predicting the comming of a great change on the face of Delliany. Nobody knows for sure, but the common folk of many towns and cities speak of something comming from the sky. Based on this, some other speculate about a meteor, or maybe another alien ship, like it came to happen with Ayumi Toshi so many hundred years ago, or maybe would it be another shipwreck like the one of the Amaru? Nobody knows for sure, but the Gronstvalgian Elves feel something strong as well, something tightly bonded to them in this grand event, as the members of the Metal Sisterhood claim this could be the signal they have been awaiting for the final liberation of the mecha. Things aren't easier at Aundlant Rittkurr, for even when the warring Lich King seems as tought as always, his attention seems focused in this event too and, under the human opinion, he wouldn't care about something in special if he couldn't get some kind of winning from it. Such, on it's own is enough concerning, as the recent comming of many dwellers of the Majigen, meaning this grand change not only affect this world, but other little sub-planes of it's own reality. But, the truth is little can be known about all what is gonna happen, and only those who can place their eyes on the stars can mostly have a better idea of what is gonna happen, and one of them of course, is the controversial and radically uniquely famous Alchemical Researcher of StarHill, Seemos Yantra, who is knows one of the most serious and dedicated observers of the sky. Is highly probable that in this time of advent, many come to visit him, and many come to seek his wisdom in the days to come, for something is sure: Delliany is not gonna be the same soon.

GM: PM your character profiles and ideas before starting to play, I don't want this to get all messy because that the best way to ruin a good idea. From now on, I will give a chance of one week before I close the recruiting time. Once it's close the RP will mainly start. Feedback and ideas are very accepted, but not in this thread. Please, for such info, just PM. Thanks for reading and being good posters.

Today was an odd morning. She looked up to the skies, like seeking for something, but she couldn't exactly say what. It was... just odd. For a moment, she tried to remember her name, but she actually couldn't. It has been such a long time without hearing the name she was given when she was another or'led. Since she came here, she was simply addressed as "sister" or, if it was needed, "red sister", due her beautyfull red hair. Red, blue, brown, blonde, green, it was almost the same there. All were the same, and nobody appraised this slight differences on the Sisterhood. Sometimes it was nice to hear "you are no different from us", but hearing it every single day surely wasted the selfsteem of anybody. Is nice to feel special and unique. But such days were longly gone and she shouldn't be digging on such unhappy thoughts now. The time of advent was at hand, and it was her mission to spread the word of the comming of a great shift on the days of Delliany. Since the sun rised, the young looking marionetter had been pulling her kart, transporting several copies of a pamphlet recently printed by the sisterhood about these grand events with the hope of reaching more people.

-"Listen! Listen! The time of changes has finally come as it was prophetised, for a miracle has happened! Listen! Listen! The days of advent had come! Repent of your sins against life, and embrace a new world! Be part of this grand event!"

It was surely a really tought job to be a proclaimer in the Sector 7, but if there were a bunch of people ready to take part on the most hard works for free with the only and solely goal of granting a supposed good to the others, such was the Metal Sisterhood.

Vag smiled as he wiped various tools with a rag. His back is turned to his "open-air market stand" style shop. There's been alot of flow today. Countless customers have been coming to his little shop. Most of them consisted of Mechas, all bent out of shape over their religous plight. The rest of his customers were humans. He liked humans, but, he liked their currency more. "We took us a bundle" Vag says as he scratches his "brother" with a toe.

"Can you fix my arm, Can you make a metal breast plate, Can you tune me up, Can you oil my valves, Can you, Can you, Can you..." Vag chuckles to himself as he poors over the countless requests he got today. The air around the shop, around Sector 7, was permeated with euphoria. Ah yes the time is near. Vag even notices the stir of the Sisterhood. Everyone seems to be about. Vag tells his "brother" to watch the shop as he folds down the canopy outside over his shop's front. A sign that he is closed.

With a crack of his knuckles and a squint at the sun he sets out to find more spare parts to stock up on for tomorrow. Coming to a relatively picked, and yet still large, scrap pile, Vag gently wiggles through any open spaces. Making his way to the heart of the mountain, he contorts his body to suit the winding and eratic pathways. Finally he finds a usefull piece. It's a hollow metal bar. Testing it he becomes satisfied with it's light weight, strength, and length. Just right for a fore-arm or shin. Sastisfied and tired with this maticulous (sp?) work, Vag emerges at the top of the scrap heap with bar in hand. Exhausted from having to work the bar through gaps he sits at the top and watches all about him.

It was the last pamphlet on her cart. If she delivered it, her mission would be over for the day and she could return to the Sisterhood Sanctum. She took it on her hand looked at it and, for a moment, she sat to think on it. Her task was just that: to deliver the information of a change to everybody but, after that, she would have any other thing commanded or ordered to do. Once again, she would be an empty existance without reason or purpose, and she hated feeling like that. She had joined the Sisterhood in search for a new meaning, a new sense. However, the need for a meaning still haunted her, and she couldn't do anything about it. It was like a curse of some sort. When she delivered that last pamphlet, all would be over for the day and she would go back to the Sanctum to pray for an uncertain destinty and bring comfort to other if anybody happened to come. She looked at the sky and remembered when the most old sisters spoke about the honorables mechas who left this world after realizing their purposes, mistifying the moment, something similar to see the face of that entity the humans and other species call a god. She wanted that, she wanted to feel that plenitude, to experience the moment when one just thinks "It's done, and now nothing else matters..." with an smile, and just enjoys with utter happyness the very simplistic fact of existance. At first she was somehow proud of this sensation she could recognize as rightfully human: envy. But then she realized that it wasn't something to be proud of. She felt envy of those like her who could enjoy the plenitude she searched for in the simplistic live of the Sisterhood. Why could they feel it and she not? It wasn't fair. She stopped at the base of a junk mountain, and her auditive auricules could catch the sounds of someone digging and working on the upper part, but, just for this time, she didn't paid attention, just looked up to the sky and extended her gloved hand to the sky and beheld the form the light made it look dark as she somehow tried to grab the sky.

-"*Sigh* ...."

Vag decided it was time to head back to his shop and dinner. Before he began his descent he spotted a particulary melancholy marionette... Immediately Vag began to ponder and praise his unintentional rhym for a good 5-7 minutes. Then he remembered the marionette.

This one puzzled him, up until now Vag had religiously believed all of the sisterhood were happy in anything being done, as long as it was for their cause. He looked to his wrist and snickered as he realized he had no watch, so Vag shrugged and began his purposeful, ungainly, and noisy descent to the foot of the scrapheap. As he clambered to the bottom, Vag hailed the marionette. "Woe is me, that a marionette as thee shall gloom even the sea!" Vag had to stop he was "killing" himself today. "Vat brings ye to these paarts!"

Her eyes opened wide. Being catched off-guard on the scrappyard was technically suicide and, of course, a shame for someone who was supposed to give speechs about wisdom and thoughtfullness, like a member of the Metal Sisterhood should. She turned her head and possed her green eyes on the person talking to her, a chemstral that didn't seemed frightening or harmfull, just another soul passing by the zone. The electrical tension on her servos diminished and she didn't finished to turn back her face as she was now facing the junk close to her feet, the expression of her face the one of someone who somehow is experimenting a gaping void in the soul or a terrible disillusionment. She took a deep slow and heavy breath and then tried her best to facade the unwipeable happy expression of the elder sisters while looking at the person that was slowly getting closer to her.

-"Good day, sir. I come here to spread the good news of the end of times! [Taking the last panphlet and showing it] The days of change have started and a new world shall begin for you and me! Be part of th... [Looking down all of a sudden] Oh... Who I am trying to fool around? *sigh* [Sitting an a rusty metal box] Probably myself....... [Looking sadly at the scrap] Please... do not pay me attention, sir.... I must be experimenting a logic failure... I need maintenance, probably... I deeply apologize for the incoveniences.... *sigh*"

Vag cocked an eye brow. "What? maitenance?" he turned around tapping his head with the bar. A marionette, is second guessing itself... A marionette actually requiring maitenance... and Vag had thought the sisterhood had special technicians for this kind of thing...

"Uh so what d'ya need fixed?" Vag walked around the troubled marionette looking at joints, gears and the such. Looking at the pamphlet he regardes it with little more than a bat of an eyebrow. It only said what was already in the air. "I don't see anything wrong..." Vag finally resolved after circumnavigating the marionette several times. "I could take a look back at my shop if you want..." He pointed in a direction.

She thought it for a moment, and then decided it wasn't a bad idea at all. She hadn't had a check since she was hipotetically restored, and she didn't thought she could be having any real malfunction since she was in plain domain of her locomotive and processing abilities. However, maybe this all strange feeling, similar to what orga used to call "Depression", was linked to a failure on her logical gears. Maybe something on her logical gears was affecting the way her chemical drives were working on her cognitive results. It was, of course, a wild guess, but it could be, and maybe a true look of someone accostumed to see these kind of things could see if there was a true problem with her. Or maybe it was her Maiden-Circuit what was working bad, but there was no way she was gonna let anyone touch that. Her Maiden-Circuit was her heart, her soul, and whoever wanted to touch it, would have to crush her to pieces and ripp open her set of hard reforced iron alloy rib cage in order to get a hold on the amazing piece of technology from Fleur-Montre.

-"[Looking at Vag] Do you think... you can find what is wrong with me, sir? I don't think it has to do with my body, for I don't register failure... it rather seems to be logical... something.... something must not be working properly on my chemical central drive..."

"Logical eh?" He pondered this for a second, one could see the "gears" turning in his head as he thought of posible components, wires, anything that could: hinder, repress, distort, etc. etc., her systems.

"Well there's no way for me to find out lest we make our way to my 'umble estabishment. Shall I lead the way?" Turning around Vag begins to walk in the direction of his shanty shop.

Feeling that he should strike up a conversation, "What were you doing out here just standing around, you never know who might take interest a lone marrionette's parts and try to strip you of major components such as those fascinating circuit board thing-a-majiggs." To accent his lack of remembrence of what it was called, he lightly twirled the metal bar in one hand. The air swirling around it made a deep "whoosh" as it passed through the hollow bar. It was a rather nice day for Sector 7. Vag rather liked it. "Oh and by the way, im Vagrant Vendetta, Vag for short..."

-"[o.o] ... S... Scarlett..."

Yes, it was like a sudden little flash in the voice of her last master. Maybe the voice of Vag was similar to that and maybe that triggered the recall on her. But, whatever was the reason, it doesn't mattered, an smile was on her face, for she had recalled her name and that was something that made her happy, even if it really didn't meant much to anyone.

-"[^-^] Yes, Scarlett used to be my name... it has been such a long time without using it that I think that sector on my Logical Gears was turning blunt... and, I know I have been careless... [Looking down] but lately I am not feeling well... that's why I think something is wrong with me... Everybody at the Sisterhood seems "happy"... but... I feel... so... empty... and purposeless..."

It doesn't mattered if she could remember her name, she was still depressed or malfunctioning. But, now, other thing was taking place on her. For Vag to examine her, she would probably have to let him see inside her head, and that was an idea that somehow produced odd feelings in her, somehow, it was like she was getting embarrased of the idea with each step they got closer to Vag's workingplace.
