If anyone has changed the sex marker on their birth certificate in the state of Texas, I really need your help ASAP.
I need to know if there is a new law, a provision, or a statute enabling you to change the sex marker on your birth certificate, and I also need to know what you put as the reason for changing the marker when you filed the petition with the court.
I really need this information ASAP. If you can share anything that could possibly help me out, I would really appreciate it.

Thank you. I've seen that first link before and I don't currently have a Drivers License. Thanks for the info, though.

If you have a State ID (which you need to cash your paychecks), that should work the same way. I have a Texas State ID, and for all intents and purposes, it serves as valid photo ID legally.

You can get it at the DMV with your social security card and birth certificate. It's like $20. You'll need valid photo ID to make any progress. It's a good idea to have photo ID anyway.
