| Entry Level Battle Dome |
"Welcome to the entry level battle dome arena! Here's where it all begins, the new trainers hoping to make a name for themselves are shoulder to shoulder with each other, striving to make it into the next class. The only thing standing in their way is each other. Battles here aren't expected to get too wild, the crowds that gather are mainly friends and families to the main trainers but that'll change in time. Until then, play fair and keep the rules in mind."
Level Restrictions: 1-10
Allowed Battle-Types:
+ Single
+ Team Single
"This is how battles will work, folks. All the trainers that have made it through sign-ups will be paired off into two groups of four. The red team and the blue team will first have it's first pair battle, the winners will take on eachother to come up with a winner for each team, then finally the winner from red and the winner from blue will battle for the winner's pot!"

"Welcome to the very first Entry-Level Poke'mon Battle Tournament!" The announcer welcomed the few that had gathered in the battle arena. More or less a few people that had nothing better to do or supporters of the young trainers. The dome itself was a giant round arena filled with sand. If needed, the dome could be converted into a water battle arena, but for the moment it had been set to default. A massive dome of energy protected the crowd from stray attacks.
"Today's first series of battles are single battles... our first battles are going to be for the Blue Team! The first combatants are Samantha Hakan and Kozue!" The announcer adjusted his glasses as he continued on, giving the crowd a bit to go off of as the doors on oppisate ends of the battle arena slid open to allow the trainers into the trainer boxes. Electronic boxes that would rise up above the battle arena to keep the trainers out of the fight. A massive screen blinked on, displaying two boxes- each having the picture of the trainer and their name.
"Kouze is entering now!"
"Trainers! Please send your starting poke'mon information to me at this time- the display screen will direct you through the set up when you step into your box!"

Kozue took a deep breath, listning to the words echoed through the stadium. A rush hit him as the doors opened, their first official battle. Subo gave a hiss, shifting eagerly on his trainer's shoulders. "You're excited too huh?"
"Kannnssss" he hissed his agreement, shifting again.
Kozue smiled, stepping out into the box. The directions were easily followed, his information soon sent. The boy held a natural talent for filling out data afterall.
"Allright." he muttered to the pokemon as he finished, giving it the okay to go.
"Ekansss!" The pokemon slithered down into the arena, situating itself infront of the box to coil, eager for the battle that was about to come.

Samantha smirked to herself as the doors opened and she stepped into the box, Warren padding along on her heels. The adrenaline rush was wonderful. Was every official stadium battle going to be like this? If so, she could DEFINITELY get used to this.
She was quick about entering the asked-for information, ready to get started as soon as possible. As wonderful a companion as Warren had become on their travels, she knew he was just as eager as she was to see how he'd fare in an official battle. He growled softly, nudging her leg in last-minute encouragement.
Smiling, Samantha scratched behind his ear and nodded. "This is it, buddy. Ready?"
The Growlithe nodded once, barking softly, then dashing down to take his place for the start of the battle.

"And here comes Samantha with her growlithe, Warren!"
[[OOC: Subo has the greater speed so he attacks first. If either of you needs me to use the generator to proxy for you for whatever reason, let me know.]]
The trainer boxes lifted up high above the battle arena as the lights flash into the dome itself. The few observers began cheering, eager for the fight to begin. Speakers boomed battle music in the stands- not loud enough to distract poke'mon or trainer, nor drown out voices of commands, but enough to provide an atmosphere well enough for the spectators.
"AND TRAINERS-BEGIN THE BATTLE!"
A loud ring filled the stadium, giving the two their que to begin the battle.

Kozue leaned foreward in anticipation, sholders hunching as he heard the battle getting ready to start... And... Go!
"Wrap!" he hollared out, allready starting to calculate their next move as soon as the words left his mouth. Though ekans only had one attack... Timing was still crucial.
Subo darted foreward, attempting to get his body around it's appoinent.
"Keep your tail off of it!" Kozue wasn't sure... but the snake's fire tipped tail could possibly help the other pokemon if they weren't careful. Best to play it safe.

Sucess! The ekans gave a hiss of victory as it tightened it's grip around the puppy pokemon. The first step to victory.
Kozue wasn't ready to celebrate quite yet... Don't count your togipi's before they hatch, right?

((Yeah, I was wondering both about the rounding and about how Wrap was going to work. 1 turn...so that means I still get to attack now, right? *hopes so* If not, just correct me...learning here. XD ))
Samantha growled, sounding more like her Pokemon at the moment than human. Their opponent was quick, but she wasn't giving up hope yet!
"Warren! Hang in there! We'll get him! He's within range now, so give him a good Bite!"
The Growlithe squirmed, trying to get at a good angle to sink his teeth into the snake.
((Erm....100% accuracy for Bite? xd *rolls anyway to make it all official* 1-100))

(( Yup, you can attack now. If wrap hits 2 times you'd have to be stuck for another damage turn unless you knew one of the attacks to break free wink ))

Subo gave a sharp hiss as the fangs dug into him, losing his grip and slithering back. He fell into a coiled position, eager to jump and attack again... But, he was a good, loyal pokemon, and waited for Kozue.
"Wrap again!"
Subo sprang forth as his owner's simple command reached him.
