I'm still a major novice at this but when ever I get a bit of time I like to bake cakes and I've recently taken up decorating them. My major achievement was a Dalek cake, especially as I'm a major Doctor Who fan.
It involved four layers of chocolate sponge cut into tiers with mini rolls and jaffa cakes for the main structure which was smothered in chocolate butter cream. Then there were decorations from maltesers, flake, buttons, finger biscuits and squares of chocolate for the finer details. It was majorly chocolaty but delicious and looked fantastic!

That sounds amazing!
I like cupcakes more then cakes! But I do make a mean rainbow cake and have whipped coloured icing.

Do you have any pictures? I'm a baking major myself and love baking in general. I eventually want to open my own cake decorating business!

I absolutely love to bake! Though, sadly, I suck so hardcore at decorating. I think I may need a crap ton of practice. sweatdrop
