These cliffs are vast and steep. It easily goes up several hundred feet. Half built and broken structures can be seen going up against them. They don't look particularly sturdy, looking as if someone had built them in a hurry. Or perhaps they weren't trying very hard to build soundly. Below, a void of water and mist. While no one is around, you can practically feel the presence of something about. Perhaps it's just the mist that's all around. Maybe it's just your imagination.
Or maybe something really does linger here.
Try not to let this dissuade you. There are great things awaiting at the top for those who are worthy.

THE RUN
Phase 1- The bottom
Every journey has to begin somewhere. In this case, it's at the bottom. A few ramps and paths lead upwards, but the footing here is hardly steady. Each step taken on the wooden areas causes a creak to sound. It's a wonder these structures still stand.
THE MECHANICS Roll 1d20. Continue to roll until you're able to move on. 1-5 = A rock suddenly falls from above. You take 3 damage. 6-9 = A part of the wooden path breaks and your foot gets stuck for a bit. 10-20 = Hardships or not, you manage to ascend to the next area.
Phase 2 - The bridge
After a bit more travel, you find yourself at the edge of a thin bridge crossing a large gap within the cliffs. As with all the other structures here, it's hardly stable.
THE MECHANICS You must cross a total of 20 feet to make it to the other side of the bridge. Roll 1d10. The number you roll is the number of feet traveled. You have 5 rolls. If you do not travel a total of 20 feet by the time you use up your fifth roll, the bridge gives out under you and you must start over. You may roll all 5 in one post.
Phase 3 - The aerie
All this time, you still can't quite shake the feeling that you aren't quite alone. You're nearly at the top, and you soon realize just what it is that's here with you. Harpies. Or at least something similar to harpies. Their shape is much of the same, but their bodies aren't quite solid. Haze leaks from their forms, and they don't take too kindly to you invading their home.
THE MECHANICS Flock of Harpies: 30 hp. If your dice are weaker than 2d10-6, (ie: 2d6-6, 2d8-6), their HP is HALVED Auto damage: 3 If your total HP is less than 40, their auto damage is 2 If you roll a miss, you take double auto damage. If you miss three times in a row, they shove you off the cliff.

So you've made it through...
The top of the cliff offers a rather scenic view, as fog filled as it is. Despite defeating the harpy-like creatures of mist, the feeling of someone around is still there. In fact, it almost feels as if a presence is standing behind you. Take care to not stand too close to edge. You feel a sort of surge of empowerment for having gone through these trials.

Raedala's searching brought her through the world that she was coming to know and become so familiar with towards a tall cliff side. Impressive. Magnificent, really... And she was at the very bottom of it.
Her head tilted up, peering at the path that lay above, ahead... Could it be there? The thing that she had lost? Whatever it was that she felt such strong longing to seek?
Taking a deep breath, she started along the path. One step. Two... Creak. She paused, looking uncertainly down at her feet. Three...
The wooden slat beneath her foot broke, trapping her toes briefly beneath it and giving her blue heart a bit of a start.

She managed to wriggle her foot free, taking a few more slow steps only to get stuck again. A part of her felt as though she should know better. A stronger part of her was convinced that she should continue on.

-:- Hold on a minute.
Unfair bannings does suck, I can relate. But try to understand things from their angle.
First, your big "What about us who bought from the VEND, and not the shops?" argument ::
The mods said that these exploiters were using their mains or mules to buy these items from the shops.
So that means they assume that you got onto a mule. Went to the shop. Bought an item. Went to the vend. Put the item up for sale. Switched over to your main account. Bought the item. (You have your argument/alibi, now) and then sold the item to the shops for profit. The exploiter - in theory - made themselves look innocent with this method. How is gaia suppose to prove you didn't do that?
I do think something should be done, though. I think Gaia should take into account how much of this "Exploited Gold" you have in comparison to "Clean Gold" on your account. If you have (example) less than 25% "Exploited Gold" on your account, they should unban you. Because I think obviously the actual Exploiters would have a HIGH amount of the Exploited Gold on their account. That way they could tell who was the exploiter, and who wasn't.

OR for the people like me.. who havn't bought ANYTHING from the the MP or the Store.
I bought zOMG! boxes with REAL money and sold back the items that I did not like. Now that is not right. I have done nothing wrong. They should not have ban-bots.
It seemed as though the one rock falling had started a chain. Another tumbled down and she let out a squeak as another one hit her. It was clearly not safe to stay in one place... But it was not safe to move on quickly either, least she find herself trapped by a broken board as the rocks fell.
"Goddess, guide me." She murmured, pressing on.

The Goddess seemed to be listening, as after closing her eyes and giving it a run for, Raedala made her way to the end of the path...
Only for her eyes to fall upon what looked like the more dangerous road ahead. The bridge looked no more safe than the wooden trail that she had followed; less so, given the space that it was stretched over.
"Forward... Or back?"

The shade of a girl paused to whisper one more soft prayer before taking that first step out on to the bridge. One foot in front of the other... If she could just carefully slide her way across.
And not look down...

With a bit of wandering, Nush soon found himself at a rather large cliff sort of structure. He tilted his head, staring upwards at the massive form. There was something up there, and thus.. this was a challenge. Right? That sounded about right.
It didn't seem like it would be an easy climb. Taking in a deep breath, he made his way on up. It was rough, and he nearly had a few mishaps here and there, but he managed to make his way through. For now.

Her breath caught and a sense of panic washed over her, standing there still and frozen for a moment, unable to move beyond the few steps that she had taken.

The panic dissipated and an odd calm overcame her. No longer afraid of how high or how far, Raedala focused only on what was ahead of her; determined now to make it to the other side.

And so now he found himself at a bridge. It didn't seem particularly stable. And it was fairly long. Nush figured he better move quick. Sure enough, he hustled.

Lilby had just walked until he found something that wasn't fragments and pools. He was puzzled by his chest which had changed slightly but soon it was the least of his concerns. Even the reserved nature he had was impressed by the sheer vastness of the cliffs.
He watched a few start up the cliffs and once more his competitive nature sprung to life. He wanted to get up there.. before the others if he could.
He began to hurry upwards and practically ran over the creaking wooden boards. He'd gotten a good way, riding on confidence, when his foot got stuck.

She had made it to the final step, pausing just long enough to eye the boards beneath her once more. Creaking and groaning beneath what little weight it seemed she had.... One more hop and her feet were on solid rock again.
Safe... Or was she?
