- Nerding Out - Her favorite is Firefly/Serenity, but she fully enjoys pretty much anything Joss Whedon ever touched. She's also a big fan of Supernatural and Charmed and anything science fiction. When it comes to books, her favorite series is the Dragonriders of Pern by Anne McCaffrey. She might be 21, but she's really just a big kid when it comes to her fandoms. She can get pretty passionate about this stuff. She's got several posters on her bedroom walls in her parents' place, and several more taped on the wall of her dorm.
Writing - She feels "if they can do it, why can't I?" So she's been slowly compiling her own science fiction universe and writing short stories about it. She's very secretive about it and doesn't tell very many people. If she shows it to anyone, it's her twin brother Chase and other people she trusts implicitly. She also loves spinning tales about anything that might catch her fancy, and enjoys writing short stories based on some of her favorite songs.
Virtues:
- No Nonsense - Charity will not take any of your bullshit, kthx. She can't abide liars and has no problem telling people about themselves if she feels they're being fake or lying about things. She holds herself to a high standard and expects the same of the people she interacts with on a daily basis. She can come off as blunt, but she tries to moderate her tone so she doesn't come off as bitchy. She doesn't really want to upset people, especially her friends, so if she feels the need to call bull on someone she'll try to do it in a private setting.
Amiable - She's a friendly kind of person. She can get along with just about everyone. If she comes across someone she can't get along with, she tends to avoid hanging around them. If she can't avoid being around someone she can't get along with, she can be civil. It involves a lot of biting her tongue to avoid letting some of her more smartass comments fly, but she manages.
Flaws:
- Obsessive - She has periods of being obsessed with things, and the only thing that has survived for most of her life is her love of science fiction. Once she finds something she's interested in, she wants to learn everything she can about it and can annoy the hell out of her friends talking about it. Non stop. If she's told to stop, she will.
Easily Distracted - Charity is the kind of person who can be talking about one thing and then something shiny catches her eye and she just stops talking. She can be restarted again, though she may need to be reminded what she was talking about. On the other hand, if something occurs to her in the middle of talking about one thing, she can change the subject on a dime. Meanwhile, everyone else is left looking at her wondering what she's talking about. The only person who seems to understand when these subject changes occur is her twin brother, Chase.
